I was surprised how stylish this is. Padded/ adjustable shoulder straps along with a slide to go over a suitcase handle. The straps are comfortable, but sits a little awkward on back, but thats basically because you are strapping a suitcase to your back. It also has a handle on side to be carried like a suitcase if not comfortable on back. Nice accents. I went with the black to hide the dirt from stashing on plane. It has pockets / zippers everywhere ! One side lays flat. like a book. Also interior zipper storage pockets. Two separate front zipper pockets, perfect for passport/travel documents. Another front pocket with a flip cover with Velcro closures. The other side opens like a standard suit case. There are adjustable clips on the sides to cinch the bag tight. Also a pocket on one side for a water bottle. It comes with three separate bags to pack shoes and little items. If it had a handle to wheel thru airport would be fantastic, but probably cut down on the interior storage. We will testing this on vacation. It says to store back in bag when not in use, but couldn't get it to fit as nicely as it came. Not your Back To School Backpack !!!

This is an awesome back. I've taken it to Europe twice - once for work and once for personal, and it was ideal for a long-haul carry on and also for just a backpack day bag once I got there. The computer slot, pockets and straps are all really well thought out. I was able to pack clothing in the main area, my laptop in the computer slot, and have easy access to other things in the pockets. The side buckle straps allow you to adjust the width of the bag if you don't need it fully expanded. Fit well in every airline and train I was on. Great bag and value.
