I needed a backpack that would be small enough to fit under my airline seat, but large enough and light enough to carry extra items I needed since all I would have would be a carry-on for a two week trip to Europe. One thing I wanted was pockets on the outside for important items so I wouldn't have to go into the bulk of the backpack while traveling. The zippers are metal and operate nicely. I love the striped interior and the backpack itself has lots of wonderful pockets inside without being overwhelming. In addition it has an USB port and room for a 15.6 inch laptop! It also has a strap on the back to fit over the handle of your luggage and a zipper in the back that's against your back for protected items like a passport. You get all this for an incredibly good price. To top it all off, it's very good looking and will match my luggage perfectly. You just cannot go wrong with this backpack. I am extremely pleased with its quality and functionality. I can't wait to take it on my trip.

I bought this to carry on a plane as my personal bag with Air Portugal, which has smaller measurements than others. I had no problem with tucking it under the seat. I liked the overall quality, the high quality zippers, and all the pockets. The laptop pocket in the back was perfect for an emergency pair of clothing folded flat, and the ipad pocket perfectly fit my cordless headphones case. There was a security pocket on the back of my backpack that was very useful. And I liked the card holders inside, and the water bottle pockets outside as well. I didn’t use the charge port. I left this bag in the hotel and used a different bag for daily outings. It would be a little too big for that but was perfect for my travel needs. I got the paisley print because it was reduced, and the colors are beautiful.

Bought this for a flight/travel personal item. It holds a lot, including a padded area for a laptop or tablet/ kindle etc. It holds so much that I had to cut down on the things that I really needed, since it was a bit too heavy when fully loaded. :) It has a nice luggage handle strap on the back too, for getting it off of your back when travelling with a suitcase with a handle. (trolley strap I think many people call it) the fabrick is a quality fabric with a slick water resistant, easy to wipe clean texture/surface. I bought the Navy with Gold acents and it looks pretty luxe. It has a white with beige stripe interior color that makes it bright and easy to find things inside, no dark black interior. I love it and have received many compliments on the bag as well. It was well priced as well, I didn't spend over $40. on it. (It may have been on sale when I purchased it) I'd buy another if I ever needed one.
