  • When your baby shows signs of rolling over, its very important for safety reasons to transition them out of being swaddled. Their hands need to be free to reposition themselves when they roll over so they can push up off the mattress.
  • Most babies really love being swaddled, so transitioning them out of swaddling is usually a real challenge as it is a change to their sleep routine.
  • The Patented Zip-Off wings on the Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag helps make this transition gentle and uneventful. We recommend transitioning both at naps and bed time to ease baby into this new sleep routine.
  • To start, simply zip off one wing and let the baby get used to having one arm out for a few nights. Once that works, remove the second wing and your baby has successfully transitioned from swaddling into a comfy wearable blanket for longer use.
  • If your baby was not previously swaddled in an arms up position, the transition may take a little longer.
  • The dual zipper makes diaper changing a breeze and eliminates the need to remove the swaddle and having to completely re-swaddle the baby. The patented design eliminates any risk of loose fabric and the zipper replaces noisy Velcro or bothersome snaps.
  • The snug fit from our 4-way stretch fabric of 93% Cotton and 7% Elastane creates a familiar and secure feeling just like in the womb to calm the Moro (startle) reflex. Does not contain flame retardants or any harmful chemicals.
  • As your baby grows, Love To Dreams 3-Stage Sleep System has you covered with our cute and practical Stage 3 Sleep Suits.
  • Large size fits babies from 19 lbs. up to 24 lbs., approximately 6-9 months. The Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag Original is 1.0 TOG. All seams are sewn on the outside and the zipper is protected so there is nothing rough against babys skin.

  • Absolutely love these!
Baby sleeps so well in these sleep sacks! The arms are removable and great for transition out of swaddling when baby shows signs of rolling and grows out of the startle reflex. Very safe and easy to use. Fits perfectly and has adorable designs. Nice material! Love it!
Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2024 by The website was very misleading with the willow 3.0. It didn’t specify that you need to pay an extra $60 for the reusable container. We didn’t want to have to keep buying bags for it. So we get the reusable container and it is ridiculously complicated to get the milk out of the container. Also, absolutely no returns allowed so I’m stuck with this complicated pump that was way too expensive and complex.

  • I love this swaddle. Helps ease my anxiety !
Color: Grey Size: Medium (13-19 lbs.)
I’m so happy I bought this swaddle. I tried many other swaddles that my baby would break out . I tried a halo swaddle too that he would wiggle too much in and it would move up covering his mouth and nose. I literally could not sleep because I was so worried about him. Luckily I can across this swaddle which was super easy to use. It does not rise up at all ! It helps with his reflexes which usually wakes him up at nighttime . Super easy to change his diaper . The zipper is helpful because we don’t have to worry about Velcro not sticking. Super easy and convenient and safe !! I can sleep better at night knowing my baby is sleeping safely with no worries of anything covering his face. Also the price isn’t bad at all. Size fit perfectly for my 3 month old. Great quality, soft and stretchy. Easy to wash and fold. Cute simple design for my baby boy. ... show more

  • So great.
Color: Dusty Pink Size: Large (19-24 lbs.)
The halo sleep sack got so gross from feeding my daughter while she was in it. It was bulky and LOUD. I love that this swaddle fits right in some areas and loose in others. It’s light but not too light. My child can kick around and move her arms. It washes well and doesn’t show stains. You can unzip one or both arms when you are ready. This took no adjusting. My daughter took right to it! ... show more

  • Would purchase again!
I honestly was hesitant to try this out because of the price and just being that every kid is different. However I'd purchase again and again! The quality is great, sizing was not an issue and my daughter did have a better quality of sleep. She hasn't slept through the night, but she is not waking as frequently. A win is a win! • A solution for transitioning your baby from swaddling
I started my baby out in a swaddle that encouraged arms down. So when I needed a transition swaddle where we can take one arm out at a time it was a bit of an adjustment going to an arms up swaddle. Once we got passed that transition this swaddle proved to make the transition from restrained arms to free arms so smooth. Not to mention it still hugs his sides gently. Overall love this swaddle, the easy transitional aid, the material, the durability. ... show more

  • I wish I had 10 of these
Color: Grey Size: Medium (13-19 lbs.)
I wish I had 10 of these; they are fantastic, but do occasionally get dirty in the middle of the night or need to be washed! I went through a number of different swaddles (Halo, miracle blanket, swaddle me, etc.) and swaddle blankets before finding this one and it's hands down the best. First, the zipper goes in both directions - so you can leave your baby swaddled from the chest down (e.g., for a feeding) or change them without unswaddling. Second, there is no Velcro. The baby can't undo the swaddle, it doesn't get stuck to things in the laundry, and it's impossible to do wrong. Third, the "hands up" position keeps babies securely on their backs. My son loves having his hands in this position (and is adorable with his "flippers" once zipped up). It prevents startling (the #1 goal of swaddling) and also seems to make him fairly stable on his back, which he likes and means that he stays put. Finally, this particular "swaddle up" allows you to transition to a sleep sack by unzipping the arms. I think that's a good value for the (expensive) price and will mean that your baby can continue to benefit from the snug feeling once his or her hands are free. None of the other swaddles I tried came close to matching these features or to the snug fit around the torso. My son started using this at about 6 weeks. He went from waking every 3 hours to waking once or twice a night. Now he is sleeping 7-8 hour stretches at 12 weeks. Is it this swaddle? Maybe, maybe not. But he does sleep more securely and for longer stretches when it's not in the laundry... UPDATE: My son is now six months and still happily sleeping in a Swaddle Up, sometimes with the wings removed. I recently read the tag and realized this was supposed to be line dried. Whoops. I've never had any issues machine drying ours. ... show more
