My wife and I took our kids to Destin Florida for spring break. We went there last year and bought some body boards at the local grocery store for around the same price. They only survived for that one day of body boarding. I decided on this trip that I would, make the investment to buy something of better quality and purchased two of these. They worked fantastic! Destin, Florida has become our vacation spot, and I have no doubt that we will enjoy these boogie boards for many years to come! When we got home, and I was unpacking the van, I looked at those two boogie boards that still had some sand on them and it made me smile. It made me smile because I immediately thought about how much fun we had. The previous year, when I bought the boogie boards at the grocery store, they were thrown away and forgotten before we even traveled home. So again, if you are traveling to a place where your kids will want to boogie board, purchase this or you will purchase something that is absolutely garbage for about the same price! ... show more

These boards were perfect for our beach trip. They are very durable and made it through strong ocean waves and transportation as we drove from Chicago to Florida.     • One summer.
I have tried 7 different ones over the summer and this one didn’t hold up as well as some others at this price point. By the end of the summer it was pulling away from the styrofoam on the inside. Like pealing up on the sides. Not too happy about that. We did use it a lot and this is common for this style. Out of the 7 I tried from this price point only 3 will last next year too. So like I said it’s not uncommon and it did last the whole summer until the last few weeks with a lot of use. Just keep that in mind. ... show more

I got 2 of these in different sizes for Christmas 🎄for my twin boys👦👦as their first boogie board. I wanted a beginner board that was stacked with enough features to be protective & durable for starting out & with enough features needed if they progress to a more advanced level. I ordered a (33inch) for my lighter twin & this board at 37 inches for my slightly heavier (97LBS) & taller twin. Also that light green color happens to be his favorite because it is the same color heavily used on one of his favorite video games. I am not sure if a board that has the best of both beginner & advanced boogie worlds exists but from all of my homework 📚I studied on prior to ordering, this is the closest one I could find to that & I chose it for all of the following reasons & more. The features I ❤️are: Heat Lamination- Uv resistant 🔆& prevents bubbles & doesn’t easily deform or fade EPS Core- lightweight & strengthens 🛟buoyancy XPE deck- makes the board easier to maneuver 🏄♂️& more responsive to impact HDPEBottom-enhances the overall speed🌊 & durability 2FRP stringer- adds greater stiffness strength & durability 💪 Crescent🌙tail/ adds better control & comfort for ocean & pools Lastly it has a Double swivel coiled wrist leash/made of stainless steel & I love that their is a strap for the hand & foot to keep you attached & so that you don’t lose the board. Overall this jam packed boogie board was priceworthy 💸& a solid choice. It has all the top rated features that checks ✅off all the boxes for my my needs & his wants. Unfortunately since it is winter ❄️ time I cannot report how it feels & handles until the spring 🌸so I Will definitely update my review with additional pics & info then!!!     • Fun family toy, better value than souvenir shops
Beach trips are the best because our whole family can have fun, from the preschooler to the adults. While I enjoy building sandcastles with my kid, as an adult guy, my favorite activity is boogie boarding. In the past, we’ve relied on the cheap Styrofoam ones often provided at an AirBnB, but this time, I decided to bring my own. This board is much nicer than the typical, fabric-wrapped-Styrofoam model. I’m not a tall man, but the size worked great for me and for my wife. The foam is lightweight, and the wood-look bottom is a slick material that glides over the water. The included wrist strap is sturdy Velcro with a coiled cord. To attach, just loop the free end through the black bolt on the board. The bright green color made this easy to keep track of in the water. Darker boards might get lost if you lose hold of them, but this was easy to spot. We weren’t playing in the strongest waves, and I wouldn’t expect this to last as long in more powerful surf. The dense foam felt solid, though not as strong as the full fiberglass models. We checked the prices at a couple beach-side souvenir shops, and this quality of board sold for more than $60, so at the time of this review, this product is a good value. Overall, it was a great toy for our beach trip, and it makes me feel a little cool when I see it in my closet. ... show more

We picked this board for the children who stay in our rental. They are lightweight and easy to carry, even for kids as young as 6 (assuming there is no heavy wind.) They get used ALOT, perhaps even as much as daily. With this noted, after 2 months they are beginning to show the wear and tear. There are no tears or anything of the sort, however the lines are looking a bit weak and strained. They still work very well and and are very good boards but I have no doubt they will last just a couple of more months. Overall this is better than some others. I marked them an overall rating of just 4 stars due to using no recycled materials. If boards like this are "disposable", some effort should be made to help the environment they are used for. ... show more
