This is a bed spread, not a comforter. So it is thicker than sheets but thinner than a blanket, and not specifically designed to keep you warm. That said, I live in Florida. This spread is not too hot for me to cover with in the summer, and I add a synthetic blanket under it in the winter. Unlike many bedspreads, this is soft, nice fabric on the bottom side as well, so it makes a good cover for sleeping. The stitch lines are ultrasonically welded, so no monofilament fishing line to unravel over time. Obviously had fold lines when it arrived, but washes nicely and while not wrinkle free it is pretty wrinkle resistant. I'm very happy with the design, fabrication, color, material, and look of this bedspread. And also a very good price.

I am giving this quilt 4 stars. I think for the price it's a good value. I bought the white king size and I have to say the size is great. Many times bedding is never quite big enough but the dimensions are good. Plenty of length and width. The weight is good too. It's lightweight but not thin. Great summertime cover. My only complaint is the embossed pattern. It looks really nice from a distance but if you sit on the bed and really look at the pattern you can see the depth of the embossing is not uniform. Some really deep and some not so much. But overall it looks nice and unless you are SUPER picky I think you'll find it a nice lightweight addition for bedding and a good value.

I needed something to replace the down comforter on my bed for the warmer months. I ordered the king size quilt for adequate coverage because my mattress is thick and I have a topper on it. I tuck this quilt in at the end of the bed and do “hospital corners” on the sides as my mom taught me years ago. I wash this quilt weekly because my cat and dog sleep on the foot of the bed. The blue color is really nice and looks good with the wood walls and floor. It washes well. The color is still vibrant and it has gotten softer. I noticed that if I washed it with towels or certain clothes it gets some balls. I now only wash it with my sheets and that no longer happens.

I was a bit nervous purchasing this because of a few bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, it is thin, but not in a really cheap way. It’s soft and has some substance and fits my cal king bed perfectly. I like the pattern and the color. Not bad for the price! I will put a light summer blanket underneath it. I’m washing it now. It’s supposed to wash well, so if anything happens I’ll repost. It fit nicely in my washer machine for a cal king. The queen size one I purchase was nice, I’ll give that 3 stars only because it wasn’t as soft and nice feeling as the cal king. I think after a couple washings, based on reviews, it’ll soften up hopefully. It fits our queen bed perfectly and the color is nice! Both blue.
