It can get chipped if the phone falls really bad but overall lasts a long time, we got this for our relative but I have had mine for about 3 or 4 years and there is only a tiny slit. My child drops her phone a lot (about 5 times a month) but only has a tiny slit on the corner where her phone chipped. The size is true to fit although the magnetic attachment is not the best but it works for the majority of things…does not come with a screen protector but I think you can get one separately, we’ve never really used a screen protector.
