Description

Your little buddy is an obligate carnivore. She can’t live without meat. In fact, her ancestors lived in the desert, getting most of their water from their prey. Your kitty’s natural desire for a fresh, meaty meal made us head into our California micro-cannery and create our Just Juicy line — hand-packed USDA inspected and passed meat, poultry or fish (no restructured meat here) in a gravy made from the juices of each. These are just delicious grain-free, single proteins with natural amounts of water and no fillers or processing aids like carrageenan–you know, like her great-great-great granny used to eat. Whether you choose Just Juicy Turkey, Chicken, Pork, Sardine, Pollock, or Salmon & Pollock, your cat’s inner carnivore will be satisfied, and you’ll be the most loved omnivore on Earth.

great for my allergic cat
My cat has IBD and I recently learned that he is allergic to most animal proteins and all legumes. He can have rabbit and venison only. He had been on a raw rabbit diet, but he won't eat it unless its topped with something else. I had to stop his dry food and could not find any substitute without allergens. I began pulverizing a freeze-dried rabbit food and sprinkling it on the raw, but wanted to rotate with another flavor. After much searching, I was very glad to find this food. Most canned foods have one or more ingredients that he can't tolerate, but this one is free of his allergens. And, he eats it. Yeah! I think the price is quite high, but I realize that its imported from New Zealand. I am so glad I found something that is working. ... show more

Never Purchasing Cat Food From This Seller Again
The product itself is excellent…my cats absolutely love it! But I’m never purchasing from this seller again (AYOZ). I placed my order on Monday & it was supposed to arrive on Friday (this is a pretty long lead time compared to how quickly Amazon orders usually ship but whatever, I was ok with that). However, I received an email yesterday, when this was supposed to arrive, that this was now going to arrive on Saturday instead. Normally I wouldn’t care if it was some other item, but since this was cat food that I was out of & it’s not a food available in local stores, it was super inconvenient & totally unacceptable. ... show more

Outrageously expensive but my Paulie loves it
My Paulie truly loves this stuff and she has sensitivities to certain foods. She eats every bit of it which makes me happy. Sadly, it’s outrageously expensive. As a retiree on a set income, I hope I can always afford it.

Single protein.
The media could not be loaded. This product is outstanding for a cat with severe allergies. It’s high in protein, which is great for a cat with diabetes also. Low in carbs. Another great for diabetic cats. And many of our cats love this venison. It has no pee product in it.

They don’t tell you how many cans in a case.
Apparently they aren’t too bright there are an other questions about the count and they can’t be bothered with correcting it. Jeez how lame. So they don’t read the reviews. But the cats like the food.

Real meat, no fillers, for the ultimate obligate carnivore: your cat!
Two months ago I adopted two 14 year old cats. They had known only one home previously, and only one owner, since their kittenhood. Sadly, the owner became ill in November 2021, and passed, and the cats became fosters. A local rescue highlighted their plight, a "dire need" for a forever loving home. I decided to offer that loving home, and adopted Marble and Taylor. Marble has certain protein intolerances, and prior to my adopting her, had been given Lotus Venison. I have continued to give her this premium meat food, and she looks so well on it. She ha a thick plush coat, and looks far less than her 14 years. Good food = good health. By the way, I don't eat meat, myself, but my cats are obligate carnivores, and they have to, for maximum health. ... show more

Price gauging
While the food is ok (ok because massive chunks of fat in the otherwise decent pet food still a frequent event) it is insane how this vendor raises prices every 2-3 weeks. Just a week ago it was $117 and prior to that $115.

Lotus is best of the best
My cat has been raised on Lotus cat food since he was a kitten. Lotus is high quality food . It's expensive but worth the price. The venison stew is what my cat loved best.
