Its difficult transitioning, I'm still getting the hang of it, since I was so used to regular brushes. (I wear very little makeup, and I just got the hang of doing my brows and concealer) However I'm breaking out WAY less than I used to. (Haven't changed soaps or anything,the only thing I changed was my brushes) and they came within a couple days. You should know that I don't wear a lot of makeup though. so if you're used to doing a whole bunch of contour and highlight and eye shadow (the works) you might wear them down quickly. I use the larger brushes for face masks. and the smaller ones to do my eyebrows/ concealer (and once in a blue moon eyeliner) but if you wear a bunch of makeup you might just want to stick to regular brushes. they're not really made to last years and years of serious use. and if you have anything gel based it tends to just rub off. ( I have an eyebrow gel and an eyebrow pomade) the pomade transfers easily, while the gel I had to switch back to a spoolie. (they work well for detail though, I used them in a theatre makeup class along with this water based Ben Nye makeup and my lines were sleek, smooth and precise) ... show more

I bought these for my mom and myself to help spread epoxy on these keychains she makes. I took the 2 larger ones home with me for applying face masks. We are really pleased with them. The smallest one is perfect for getting any fuzz or deep bubbles out while the 3rd largest is the main one she uses to spread the epoxy. For my masks, they make it so much easier to mix and spread my homemade bentonite clay masks and my charcoal masks. They help me apply a more even layer for peel off masks, making them easier to peel and more efficient. Best of all, they are super easy to clean! I am not sure how well they would apply makeup though. Cream eyeshadows and gel eyeliner would be easy to apply with these. Concealer and possibly some foundations may be easy to apply but I just did not get a good finish with my foundation. Powders did not apply well. ... show more

These are exactly as described, and perfectly effective. The only problem I have with them is that even though I received them still in a sealed package, a couple of the brushes had dark smudges on them. I'm not sure if they were previously used or if they just got some dirt on them, but I washed and sanitized them and the smudges came right off. ... show more
