Absolutely loved these earplugs. I cannot rave enough about how well these worked! I have incredibly sensitive ears and very minor noises such as vacuums or hair dryers hurt my ears to a point of giving me a migraine within a few minutes. Because of this, I had never been to a concert but a band I really like was preforming in my area and I didn’t want to miss it so I decided to try to find some earplugs that could help. My experience with normal earplugs is generally horrible as they always fall out of my ears and I’m constantly readjusting them but I was blown away by these! I don’t know what I expected but it definitely wasn’t this! They worked perfectly! I was able to hear everything around me, hear people talking, hear the music, hear the singer, and not have my ears killing me. The concert lasted 3 hours and I didn’t have to readjust them once. At one point in the night, I pulled one of the ears out just to hear what the world sounded like and if the earplugs were muffling or blocking out the true tones and I was surprised to find that it seemed to just keep out certain decibels but that everything was pretty much the same in terms of being able to hear the true nature of the noise. It definitely does make things quieter but you are 100% still able to hear your surroundings just at a much more manageable level. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend getting the pack of earplug sizes just to ensure your plugs fit perfectly. I don't go to shows very often but when I do the music is often so loud that it's painful and I feel ringing in the ears. Took these out to a dance party one night and it made a huge difference in comfort! I can still hear and feel the music but it wasn't painful or deafening like it usually is! I don't know how they work but I was able to hear people talk to me as well. I took them off for a moment to see how loud it was and the music really was blaring! Wore them for a several hours before they started to irritate my ears, I guess I just need to get used to having earplugs (I wore the XS silicone tips). I have excessive earwax but since these don't go as deep into your ears as some of the competitors with their universal size, it's not a huge problem. I did pull out some earwax as I removed the earplugs so they do need to be cleaned after each use with a damp cloth. Overall I definitely recommend for concert goers and musicians! They work very well to protect your hearing but you can still hear normal conversations. I'll be going to music festivals and taking these with me! ... show more

I'm sensitive to noises but I specifically purchased these to wear at a music festival next month. Ive opened them up and tested them out with some of my daily sounds and heres what i got: Likes - stylish! - choice of tip sizes - foam tips work even better than the silicones! - great job blocking sound, I played a song on my phone at max volume with it next to my ear and was still comfortable - noticeable difference with and without the mutes - dulls out my house fan and exhaust fan to a - comfy to lay down in them! i can never get comfy sleeping in regular earplugs Dislikes - tiny carrying case, - a little difficult to change the tips - hearing my inner everything (i know its probably normal but still off-putting) - tiny hard to read instructions inside the box Overall a great pick. I hope they block out a good enough amount of sound at the festival. I may get the engages for daily conversation and loudish restaurants but i could see me using the experiences for a long time for daily outings too. ... show more

These truly saved my sanity at Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando! I have issues with high pitched noises and needed something that would help prevent meltdowns when I heard children crying and screaming while at amusement parks. Because of how these were made, they were able to help me hear better when talking with people (especially with Audio Processing Disorder) and preventing full blown meltdowns when the 7 decibels were taken off while I was still learning what I can and can't deal with my triggers. I also tried to listen to amusement park rides with skits while waiting in line and on rides and it was much clearer instead of being extremely echo-ey and hard to hear without them in. I kept these in for almost 10 hours non stop and had no issues with how they sit in my ears. I have told many people about these while in themeparks and hope they help others. ... show more

Note that they are not fully noise-cancelling, nor are they meant to be! I purchased these earplugs when my partner who is a DJ started noticing signs of tinnitus. They are so great for protecting your ears a venues and concerts that play extremely loud music. You can wear them and still fully enjoy the music, but without hurting your ears. Additionally, I have ADHD and I become very overstimulated and sensitive to sounds. When I first put these on, I was close to tears with how comforting they were. So I purchased them for a different reason, but now I wear them all the time when I am overstimulated! Such an awesome product!
