Im actually using these with my parrot. Who is basically a terminal toddler, lol. The only thing I didnt like was the xylophone keys were poor quality.

My bird loves the Xylophone! I’m teaching her how to play it. She has figured out how to use the stick to make The sound by sliding it back and forth and She can do it with her beak gliding her beak back and forth. I’m hoping in 3 months she’ll be able to play a song! I wouldn’t let her chew on the wood items since I Doubt the paint is safe. That said I wouldn’t let infants chew on it for the same reason. ... show more

I got this set as a gift for my friends baby who is turning 1 and decided to go ahead and get one for my 7 month old as well. He LOVES it. I have never seen another toy grab his attention as much as these instruments. He had a blast hanging them together and making a joyful noise. He played with each one for about 45 minutes total.
