My 2.5 year old absolutely loves this. It does have some small parts so I only let her play with it when I'm watching her, but it has become such a fun tradition for us to do our "makeup" together. She plays with her set while I finish getting ready. The pieces are wood and quality and have held up after months of use (nothing breaking and no paint peeling).
