My cat, Beignet, is fairly large.He is a Siamese-Snowshoe mix, weighs about 15 lbs, and fits just fine. He doesn't love trips, but that has nothing to do with the catpack. It's cute and comfortable to wear, and it helps my anxiety being able to see him easily in the car. The extra space is great for bigger cats if you want to give them space to stretch during breaks in trips.

We have a cat that loves to travel! She goes on car rides regularly. We recently booked a vacation rental that allows pets and needed a bag to carry her. We decided on this bag for a few specific reasons. Before making the trip, we set the bag in our home for about a week. All six of our cats we’re curious and took turns going inside of it to explore. The cat who travels was enticed with treats inside of the bag to help ease her to walk in on her own. She quickly fell in love with her new nap spot. PROS- 1) The circle air holes allows for extra touch while on-the-go. It seemed to give our car security. We also could easily sneak small treats through the holes! 2) The round zipper side opening is perfectly sized for our cat to go in and out of the bag. It was very helpful when going through TSA. 3) The mesh expanding section allows for a little more movement without the hassle of a huge piece of fabric to tuck back into place. 4) The padded straps and padded back was easy on my back/shoulders while walking through the airports. 5) A cat in a bubble is just precious! Our cat is social and enjoyed watching the people as if she was being carried rather than in a “scary” bag. 6) It fit perfectly underneath the seat on the airplane! We could see her and talk to her the entire time! 7) It is sturdy. The material is heavyweight and the mesh is thick. The zippers are secure. This bag feels good quality but came at a fair price. CONS - I wish there one additional pocket to hold necessities. A small zipper pouch would be beneficial to put a cell phone and cards in. The mesh pocket held calming treats well for the trip but it wasn’t quite as adequate as what we needed. The only other thing that would be helpful would be a luggage strap to be able to set the bag on my rolling luggage securely.

My cat lives 100% indoors. We bought this so he could go on walks with us and our dog. Its great for curious and calm cats. The bottom is very sturdy for the cat to sit. There are also many vent holes for breathing. The backpack straps are padded for your comfort - there is also a chest strap to keep the pack steady. The pack is a bit larger, so its great for most cats. Unfortunately, its just a tad snug for my longer cat (small puma basically). It also expands for your cat to get some outdoor time, which is neat!

I have a house cat that is too fragile to go outside. She was hesitant at first but when she realized she could go outside you could tell she was very pleased. If I leave it out, she will even nap in it! It is well built and looks cute!

I took my kitten for a walk in the backpack and she loved it so much, she didn't want to get out of it! She jumps into it every day, looking forward to her walk outside. It's such a great way to take a kitten or cat into the great outdoors without having to worry about their safety. She loves the large plastic window that enables her to see everything. This is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon!

Bought this after hearing a friend gush about how much their cat loves it. I needed a carrier she could feel comfortable and safe in, especially when we go out on adventures, and this one has done the trick beautifully! It's easy to get her into the carrier, especially with the multiple entry points. (Every other style of carrier I tried was really difficult to get her into.) It's also been really easy to gradually introduce her to each new feature (fully open, fully closed, closed with mesh part down, etc.). I love that she can see so well from inside and that she gets good airflow. It's comfortable for me and she fits well inside. She's 12lbs and, while I wouldn't describe it as spacious when it's fully closed, the backpack is still big enough that she can turn around whichever way she wants and get comfy even while I'm wearing it. But with the mesh part open, it's downright palatial! My only complaint is that the chest strap with the buckle isn't fully attached. One side of the buckle/strap is securely sewn on, but the other is an adjustable situation that will just slide right off. I'm going to sew the other side down and it'll be fine, but just keep this in mind if the chest strap is a big selling point for you. 5 stars! I love it, my sweet cat loves it, and we both highly recommend it for you and your cats, too. :)
