As a proud owner of a Maine Coon, I needed a spacious and sturdy carrier, and this one fits the bill perfectly. The XL size is just right for my fluffy friend, giving him plenty of room to move around comfortably. The design is both practical and stylish, with excellent ventilation and secure closures. The overall concept is innovative. However, not all adult cats will be ok confined to such a small space. My baby boy Storm felt trapped, trying to find his way out. I, myself, am claustrophobic and he probably felt the same way. I let him out when I realized the backpack feature was not going to work for him. It may be ok if you begin use when they are kittens and can become acclimated. The zippers work fine. It can serve as a regular carrier when expanded. There is an opening to the expansion itself so it makes it easier for the cat or very small dog to walk in from behind. However, I have found it easier to put him in by unzipping the bubble. Using the expansion entrance is tricky because while you're trying to zipper it shut, he's trying to get out! I will be using this as an extra carrier for car trips so he can see out. Also, it helps to have an extra carrier while traveling in case he gets sick and throws up or does the other thing. I am giving it 5 stars because it is well-made, as roomy as his regular carrier, he can stand up and lay down comfortably, room for a small food dish. Just because the backpack feature did not work for my cat, it may work fine for others....it depends on the pet.

This cat backpack is a game-changer. I take my cat hiking in it, and she loves peeking out through the see-through window. It gives her a full view of everything while keeping her safe and secure. The backpack itself is comfortable to wear, even on longer hikes. The straps are padded, and the weight is distributed well, so it doesn’t strain my back. It’s well-ventilated, sturdy, and looks great too. If you want to give your cat some adventure without stress, this is the way to go.

Backpack is comfortable. I would recommend you use cat nip spray in it or leave it out so your cat gets familiar with it. I haven’t used it with my cat in it though. I don’t know how well this would do for larger cats like mane coons or even if you have a tom cat that may have been neutered older, because it’s kind of smallish. My cat fits good but she’s a smaller girl cat with short legs. The back part does offer a lot of room, so that’s nice, but with it up it’s pretty small. Definitely get a fan with it if it gets hot where you live!

This is a super versatile pet carrier! We have used this for Chinchillas, kittens, full grown cats, and puppies and it has worked excellent for all. It has a great zipper in it, the bottom comes out for easy cleaning and helps it fold down and fit in smaller spaces to put up. I would buy again if it broke as I think it has exceeded my expectations!

So great! I received lots of compliments and my kitties loved it. I highly suggest the fan to go with it. The kittens in the picture are between 4 to 5 lbs. So, once they are full grown I doubt they’ll both fit. I leave it in the cat room with the side open and they’ll sometimes just go lay in it.

My daughter was super excited to get this pack. She has a standard DHS adult cat, so he should have easily fit in the pack. Well, he does fit, but he's left with very little room to maneuver. I'm glad we purchased the expandable backpack, otherwise this would be a disaster. When first introduced, he crawled in only after we expanded the pack on the floor. He was fine with that. Once zipped up, we took our first walk. The pack was tight and not entirely easy to adjust with said feline inserted in the pack. It's probably best to adjust prior to allowing the cat entry into the pack. We quickly learned that some cats, including ours, get travel sick when bouncing up and down while walking. The silver lining of this first sojourn was to learn the pack is easily washable, and the small insert is absorbent. My biggest pet peeve with this pack is all you can do is bring your cat along. There are two side sleeves for, perhaps, a water bottle or two. But that's it. This is strictly a cat carrier and nothing else. So if you dreamed up packing up your cat for a fun picnic and putting extra supplies in the side pockets and accessory compartments, you will be sadly mistaken thinking this pack will accommodate your needs. It's just a pet carrier. All pet accessories must be carried by whomever is walking with you... perhaps the dog can carry the picnic basket. Overall, it does the job. You can carry your cat. Not very roomy. Would not work with an oversized cat. Definitely get the expandable pack so when you tire of carrying around the extra eight to 14 pounds of cat, you can put it down and let your cat stretch out while you rethink your life choices. The zippers are, so far, durable. The airflow is adequate, but if your tiger overheats easily, it might start panting. Or it might start panting simply because it's in a claustrophobic space with no known way out. Don't bother putting toys, or a water bowl, in the pack. They will be sat on and in the way. The overall material appears durable, and as we discovered, washable. If you're looking for a cat carrier, this is underkill. All you carry is your cat, and I reckon not very comfortably. This may be best suited for a kitten. In fact, if you have a kitten and want this pack, it's probably a good match because you can train your kitten to tolerate this kind of travel, and you can grow into the weight as kitten turns into cat. But for adult cats.... it's a novelty.
