The media could not be loaded. PROS - Compact when folded, and fits in the water bottle pocket of a backpack - Easy and convenient to use. The button to close it is a nice feature - Actually has bigger dimension when opened, compared to our other folding umbrella which is longer when closed CONS - Strap and button look flimsy - Handle could be wider and a bit longer for better grip Our teenager has had this umbrella for about a year, and he likes it better than his previous one which broke. It has served him well during spring and fall when he has to walk to and from school.

Overall this is a really nice umbrella! It's made of thick material and feels substantive, with lots of ribs and a nice closing mechanism. BUT, for this price, I would expect a wind slit. I firmly believe any umbrella positioning itself as "windproof" should have a basic feature like that which would greatly extend its life.

I recently used this during a heavy storm in southern California. I mention where because socal only gets so crazy and a storm here is nothing compared to storms in other parts of our country. While using this umbrella during this storm the wind caught it several times and flipped it inside out. I had to pop it back into place quickly and the wind wasn't even that bad! I was surprised at how easily it would flop out. The umbrella mechanism works very well and is super smooth. Overall this is a great umbrella for the rain, but if you need something sturdy and can withstand a real storm, this isn't it. this is light weight and easy to use.

it's a good umbrella for everyday use. I keep it in my car and it fits under the seat. It's been very helpful so far without any issues. Not yet used in extreme rain/wind but seems pretty durable. Pretty big and gives adequate protection from rain but is small enough to fit well in a backpack or larger purse. I have no complaints and would recommend. Will update if any issues arise.

This is a well made umbrella. It feels sturdy in hand but is still very light weight. It holds up to strong wind - the type of sideways rain where an umbrella doesn’t do too much to keep you dry. I suspect this will last longer than my typical 1-2 years for other compact umbrellas.
