  • Logitech SLIM FOLIO PRO is heavy and bulky but it is a beautiful thing to type on.
Style: Slim Folio Pattern: Tablet Keyboard Color: Oxford Gray
There seem to be reviews for multiple products mixed here. This product, Logitech SLIM FOLIO PRO, does NOT charge through the iPad. It does not use the apple connectors, instead connecting through Bluetooth. It connects immediately with no issues. It is charged via a cord with a USB C connector. I’ve had it about a month and I’ve charged it a couple of times for a few hours each time. It really didn’t need the charge, I just like to keep things topped off. It’s a love/hate relationship. My ipad is now heavy and bulky compared to my apple keyboard case. Yes, I put down my working Apple Smart Keyboard Folio case for this. The backlit keys make up for the weight. It does go dark in a few seconds but that is a good trade off for extended battery life. Just touch any key to light it up. To those complaining about using the space bar, just touch the battery key in the upper right corner to bring it back to life. No additional characters will be added to what you were typing. I bought it because I was frustrated not having the backlit keys. I really love my beautiful lightweight, thin Ipad and it’s gone. I had to just get over that and go for function. 2 items that make it a winner for me: No crazy colors to cycle through. I don’t even want them there. Just white. You control the brightness with a couple of keys on the top row. That top row of keys has some very useful items. Give that a look. The second item is the feel of the keyboard. It is one of the best keyboards I have ever used. It absolutely does not feel like a portable keyboard, more like a really good keyboard you have at home on your desk. The keys are smooth, they feel good under your fingers and have a nice bounce back. They are quiet. The F and J have a raised bit at the end so you can line your fingers up easily. As keyboards go it’s an A+. If you can get over the weight and bulk this is absolutely the keyboard to go for. It’s a joy to type on. ... show more

  • This Keyboard Case is completely worth it! I recommend 100%!
Style: Slim Folio Pattern: Tablet Keyboard Color: Oxford Gray
I absolutely love this keyboard. I love it so much, I came over to Amazon to write a review about it. The typing experience is absolutely mind blowing. I say that while comparing this keyboard case to two other keyboard cases and one Bluetooth keyboard I previously had. The keyboard cases were much larger than they should have been and therefore, far less sturdy. This case is compact and built like a book. Though it does not protect every single inch of your iPad, it protects enough. I do love the floating design of the magic keyboard, but for the price and the experience I have had with this Logitech keyboard case so far, I would not think twice about buying another one as a gift or recommending it to a friend. I am a college student starting this Fall, and this has been working great for me throughout my college process so far! Tip: If you ever see that you are pressing a letter on the keyboard and the letter you are pressing is not the one being typed on the iPad, then you might have various keyboard like me. Make sure the English keyboard is the ones selected when typing with this keyboard... I almost returned it thinking it was messed up, but it was not. Pros: - Protective enough: If you won’t be slamming your ipad into walls and carelessly throwing it everywhere, then it has the perfect protection you need. - Backlit Keyboard: There are only two levels and the highest level is still not as high as a Mac or as you would expect, but I type perfectly fine at night with the light that it does have. - Space for your Apple Pencil and extra protecting sleeve for it while the case is closed - Battery Life: People and Logitech say that the battery lasts three months and that it’s pretty amazing, I don’t know much about it since I have only had it for a few days, but I have a feeling they are correct - Backlit keyboard turns off around every 7 seconds if not in use which really saves battery life - when the ipad portion is not on the magnet of the logitech keyboard section, the keyboard is unresponsive (off) and when magnet is locked in place the keyboard then turns on and functions - The actual keyboard is thick and sturdy enough for it to be on your lap while you type meaning that an actual desk is not necessarily needed but is still preferred and provides a more comfortable and ideal typing experience - The keyboard charges with the same connector as iPad (USB-C) - The keyboard is almost as big as that on my MacBook Pro (about 1 inch smaller) and therefore, provides the perfect amount of space for you to type with ease and comfort - The magnet that keyboard case brings is extremely strong (you can pick up the iPad while the ipad portion is connected to the keyboard portion and it won’t demagnetize. Cons: - I would say that the greatest con of this keyboard case is there are no brightness function keys to control the brightness of the iPad itself (at least not that are visible on the keyboard) - It is a little heavy but I have a ZUGU case that is also pretty heavy so it’s around the same to me; I do not feel like it is abnormally heavy. For having a keyboard and a battery, I think it has good weight - Rubber does not protect most of the top, most of the bottom and the side where the Apple Pencil magnet is located - It is a little annoying to open and close the case due to the weight - The material is easily scratchable, but I really like it regardless - No USB-C cable is provided for the keyboard, so you need to get one if you have broken or misplaced you iPad’s charger \ - Unlike many other keyboard cases, there is no picture taking key control, you have to take pictures as if you were on a Mac (shift+cmd+4) ... show more

  • Good for School
Style: Slim Folio Pattern: Tablet Keyboard Color: Oxford Gray
I'm starting college soon and I wanted a Bluetooth keyboard for my tablet because I didn't feel comfortable carrying my laptop around campus. I found Slim Folio Pro and so far I'm happy with it. The keyboard is a little bit smaller than depicted in the pic, but works really well. You do need to make sure that the tablet is secure in the resting notch for the keyboard to activate but it's reliable none the less. It has a nice back-lit keyboard function that turns on when you start typing but comes off after a while when you stop. It is a bit on the heavier side to lug around and has no click pad on the keyboard (something you probably knew if you actually paid attention to the features, unlike me), and you do have to charge the casing separate from the tablet. I haven't started college yet so I haven't made full use of the keyboard but it's looking to be promising. ... show more

  • Better than the Apple keyboard case
Style: Slim Folio Pattern: Tablet Keyboard Color: Oxford Gray
I love this keyboard. It is on my Ipad and I use it everyday for work. It is not bulky at all. It holds a charge great. There is no lag when typing. IT is a great price and I think it is a great value.
