    • Actually whisper quiet, low profile, laptop-like keys

Initially, I was purchasing cheaper keyboards for my new PC just because I didn't think I would be picky about how the keys feel. Turns out, the cheap keyboards felt awful: I have slender fingers, and I even clipped my nails to experiment, and yet I was still "fat thumping" the other keys. Cheap keys also felt shaky and loose, with an unsatisfying click. Both clackity despite claiming they were "whisper quiet". One was a Logitech K120 Corded keyboard for about $12, and the other was HP 150 Wired Keyboard "chiclet-style" for $11. Logitech was worse than the HP one with its higher, near-typewriter-feel keys, but HP was only barely better than the Logitech with its flat keys. Flat but still raised just enough to be bothersome and unstable. This Signature Slim Wired K620 keyboard, on the other hand, is legitimately quiet - exactly like a laptop keyboard. The keys are actually low profile and stable to touch. Nothing shaky to them. Haven't fat thumbed anything and there is no threat that it'll ever happen. The texture on the keys themselves have a smoothness to them, but not a slippery texture. Matte. Decent grip. I haven't had this long enough to comment on the letters wearing away, but comparing this to the reviews on those backlit keyboards with the lights in the keys, these will surely last significantly longer. The F and J keys have a defined bump on them, which I like, as I prefer not to glance down at my keyboard while typing. The aforementioned keyboards lacked that definition. While the Scroll and Numpad lock don't light up, which I prefer they do, unlike the cheaper keyboards that dedicate a corner for those specific lights, it's one small sacrifice for better over-all quality. I like that there's a switch for which OS you're using, which determines what some of the keys do, such as the Start key, making this a flexible keyboard for whichever computer you have. It does have a USB-C plug instead of the typical USB-A, so keep that in mind, unlike your girl here who just assumed USB-A. Luckily I have a hud with both ports. I'm relieved that companies are still creating good quality WIRED keyboards. There's too many wireless on the market. While wireless is convenient and much less ugly in terms of a wire jungle below your desk, wired is reliable and consistent. No stress of whether the battery or connection will die on you while you're doing something time sensitive, or if you're feeling particularly lazy or exhausted and just don't want to get up and deal with it. I'm pro-wired for life, baby. 😎 Don't be like me if you prefer an actual quiet keyboard with legitimate low profile keys. Spend a little bit more money for something nice. ... show more

I am very happy with this purchase. The keyboard is a much higher quality build than I thought it would be. I should have expected more since I have other Logitech products and they've all been great, but I guess I've just been used to those cheap basic plastic wired keyboards you get with desktops these days The keyboard is heavier and feels very solid. I love the smooth feel of typing and the low profile design. It has a switch to change it from Windows to Mac to Chromebook mode, so that's nice as it makes it more suitable for multiple devices. I noticed in the description that it's USB-C, so I bought C to A adapters to use it with my laptop hub in my home office setup. The one issue I have with the keyboard is the function keys are basically reversed. Typically the F functions are the default and you have to hit the function key to use the shortcuts like brightness, volume controls, etc... For this keyboard it's the opposite. I use the function keys quite a bit in my work so this is a bit of a nuisance. I did finally figure out by hitting fn/ESC you can lock it in function mode. I didn't catch this when I was reading the product description before buying. If you can live with that then this is a great wired keyboard for the money! ... show more

This is a great keyboard. It has low profile keys so your keystrokes are fast and there is zero noise when typing. There is a button for everything and I love that it has the 10-key pad, which is the reason I bought it. I'm required to have a wired keyboard for work, so the long lead is handy but it also comes neatly fastened and it doesn't look messy. It is labeled and compatible with both Windows and Mac. I can't remember how much I paid for it, but it is really worth it. Although the quality is great and I expect it to last a long time, I would buy it again if I needed to. ... show more

The feel of the keyboard is good, and the build quality is high, but the key layout is a disaster. They replaced the right Ctrl key (you, know, the one you use for Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V) with a stupid AI key! That makes the keyboard annoying and slow to use. This hurts usability. I would prefer a cheap generic keyboard. I guarantee that no one was asking for a stand-alone AI key. What would that even do? And why on earth would you put it in place of one of the most useful keys on the keyboard? Very poor design decision. Don't buy it for personal use. Don't buy it for work.
