    • Great Upgrade for the MK710, But Use the USB Dongle for the Best Experience
I bought the Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Combo as a replacement for my old MK710 keyboard and M705 mouse setup, and it is a really great upgrade. The keyboard itself feels amazing to type on, and the response while typing is very nice, tactile, and smooth. Both the mouse and keyboard are ergonomically comfortable for long hours of computer work. The Bluetooth functionality works perfectly fine during normal use. However, there is one annoying quirk with the Bluetooth connection: if your PC shuts off or goes to sleep, the combo sometimes loses its connection and will not reconnect automatically until you manually turn the keyboard and mouse off and back on again. Because of this, using the included USB dongle is definitely the better option. Once you plug in the USB receiver, the connection becomes rock solid, instantly responsive, and stays connected without any annoying drops or power-cycling routines. It is a fantastic, high-quality modern replacement for the older MK710/M705 combo, but I highly recommend sticking with the USB dongle for a hassle-free experience! ... show more

OK. It (used to be) against my will to purchase ANY wireless keyboard and mouse combination that cost this much, but after thousands of hours on the other Logitech keyboards, I can see exactly why people buy the MK850. The keyboard is SUPERIOR quality as is the mouse. The roller wheel on top of the mouse works better and more precise than any I have ever used. On the keyboard, you will notice there is no "print screen" key but the construction is superior and instructions are done quite well. I would recommend this if needed. (Wish it had backlighting for this price). ... show more

    • This combo met and exceeded my expectations!
I've had this keyboard/mouse combo for a couple weeks. I got it because I have a PC for work, but I prefer to use a Mac for my home use. The need for 2 keyboards and 2 mouses was inconvenient and space-consuming. The combo's ability to switch to multiple devices is a big reason I chose it. So far, the switching seems to be working really well. I love the ease of setup. I used the USB dongle for the PC, and used bluetooth to connect to my mac and my iPad. The connectivity has been easy and stable. This has allowed for easy switching, and reduced the footprint required by duplicate hardware. I like the way the keyboard feels, and the mouse has a switch by the scroll wheel that, when released, allows the wheel to scroll freely, and when engaged, adds a resistor that restricts the wheel. I loved that feature on my last logitech mouse and was very pleased to find it on this one as well. I'm hopeful that that battery efficiency will last longer than my mac keyboard. After a couple of weeks, the keyboard is still reading at 100%. ... show more

    • Unusable due to poor Bluetooth quality
A great product otherwise made unusable by low quality Bluetooth hardware. Keyboard will lag and then lose connection and whatever the last keystroke is before it losing connection it repeats over and over. So while typing an email you get 75 “L” or if you’re unfortunate enough to have been hitting backspace 75 characters are deleted before it reconnects. Happens on multiple pc’s even sitting 6” from the keyboard. Very disappointed for such an expensive keyboard and mouse combo. Works brilliantly with all of my bluetooth devices. Though technically limited to 3 devices, simply holding a single button for a second or 2 pairs it with whatever device you're trying to control at that moment and vice versa when you switch back to whatever device had been programmed into 1 of its 3 right before. I have not had to change the single AA battery in either the mouse or keyboard since I've owned this (almost 2 years now), Windows indicating both batteries are still at 100%. You will never have to change it in your lifetime at this rate. And yes, I use this mouse and keyboard exclusively for hours daily. AI will have destroyed us before a battery ever needs replacing! ... show more

I have had a love-hate relationship with Logitech combo Keyboard and Mouse kits. I'm stretching it to even give this kit 4 stars. Use the unifying USB plug and don't setup as a bluetooth device. I have had this kit for 2 weeks and every single day there have been more than two dozen times I have wanted to launch my super-deluxe mouse off the top of a 20 story building. Brand new Lenovo P3 computer and this brand new wireless keyboard and mouse, and I have been screaming at the mouse all day, every day for 2 weeks. Mouse scrolling 1 page at a time, even though all settings are set to 1 line at a time. You can't move the mouse with precision, it lags or just goes away for a few seconds then comes back. Uninstalled and reinstalled - HORRIBLE. Finally, after two weeks, I downloaded the Unifying drivers, plugged in the USB dongle and FINALLY!!!! I have a mouse that works. I noticed that every few seconds, in my Windows 11 Pro Bluetooth settings window, the dang mouse would disconnect and reconnect 20 times in a minute. For testing I still have my keyboard connected via bluetooth and so far it is holding up well, but NEVER, Ever, ever, never, connect this nice- but garbage mouse via Bluetooth. You know, it seems to be typical of Logitech. I have never had a wireless combo set where eventually the keyboard and mouse become projectiles across my office. But at least when I want to scroll down with the mouse wheel, it does move down instead of scrolling down will scroll down, then up then down again like a different name-brand manufacturer's wireless mouse does. Oh that really bothers me. So I typically don't do lengthy reviews, but what a garbage mouse when you connect via bluetooth (with all drivers up to date), just save yourself the frustration and use the Unifying usb dongle to at least connect the mouse. It works perfectly as advertised and I am now, finally, able to enjoy this wonderful combo set (but I'm keeping the wired mouse close by for a while). ... show more

Overall, I love this combo! This thing worked great until it didn't ... exactly 14 days after the warranty expired. Thankfully customer service issued a replacement. Space bar randomly would start adding spaces or not work at all. New keyboard is installed and works great again! Thanks for the customer support!!! ... show more

This is a comfortable keyboard with the perfect cupped area on each key which will make you a speed typer and all the function buttons are easy to find and use. Wish it had backlit keyboard, The Mouse is a dream - No hand cramps and you can scroll through pages quickly with you mouse's roller - fastest one I've ever had -- I use it at work for 10-14 hour days no hand cramping. BONUS: use the keyboard and mouse on up to 3 different devices ie; Laptop, IPad and Phone to send a text etc just set them up. Worth the $ , ... show more
