I’m a Barber, and having the right light is important. This lamp is counter top based, so, of course, I recommend this light for barbers. I tend to walk around my chair when lazy to turn it. Having the ring light stand around me while working is annoying! Always, hitting it with my feet, wires getting caught and then comes the ring light tumbling down and breaking having to buy another stand. Small and compact to put on monitors. I got 2 of them to balance light from each side and it totally works for my use case, which is mostly zoom calls. Obviously other lights from companies such as Elgato are brighter, but this was bright enough for me. In fact, I keep it around 65% brightness. I wish I didn’t have to download multiple apps for my Logitech accessories, but GHub works well enough for setting up profiles allowing easy turn on/off of the lights at desired brightness/color settings. I also like how these can be hardware controlled as needed since I use multiple computers. ... show more

I mainly purchased this over other lights because it's USB powered. The light comes with a deatachable USB-C to USB-A cable. The light itself doesn't exhibit flicker, and also isn't harsh on the eyes due to the diffusion cover over the LEDs. There's screw-in mounting options if you want a horizontal or vertical setup, and cable management clips on the back of the light and the stand. The base is sturdy, although I'd prefer a slightly heavier base, and the arm even at full extension has minimal wobble. You can control the temperature of the color as well as the intensity through Logitech G HUB. Functions well as a desk lamp and a key light. It works great but a couple of "nice to haves" would have been RGB lighting at this price, and availability in white. ... show more

I am in video calls all day for work and I was distracted by the horrible lighting at my desk. I use a Mac Studio Display and the camera in it doesn’t do very well in low lighting either. This light drastically improves image quality and is much more flattering too. I love how easily it sits on a monitor and the ability to adjust temperature. Great device for work! ... show more

All things considered, It is an amazing ring light. Logitech has always been known for quality and integrating everything together with their g hub software and accessories. I guess that is also my only complaint in this, had I owned a Logitech gaming keyboard I would have special keys that could control this light and my Logitech brio webcam. However, I own a razor keyboard and mouse. So therefore I manually have to turn on and off everything. Not a big deal, trust me I know. It’s definitely an incentive on their end to stay within their realm of products. Apple does the same thing, so I understand. Just maybe make your keyboards a bit cheaper for the little man Logitech, but overall a fantastic purchase that I use everyday. ... show more

    • Not as good as I hoped it would be

While this light has some good features, is easy to position and control, and was reasonably inexpensive, it has a couple of faults in my opinion that make it a bit disappointing for me. Your mileage may of course vary. Positioned on top of my LCD monitor which is about 2 feet from my face, the light is not as bright as it should be to fully illuminate my face well enough for use in such programs as Skype. So, when upping the brightness, the glare from the light overpowers my eyes and it's difficult to see the other person or people in my meetings. But turning down the brightness results in my face being a bit too dark. It's just difficult for me to get it just right for both parties in the call. This may be due to the white plastic cover over the light which maybe is a bit too diffuse and scatters the light too much rather than direct it towards my face. I'm not sure. I found I get a better result from a small 10 inch LED light bar I got at a home improvement store's lighting department which I have mounted on the shelf above my monitor. This light has gotten good reviews elsewhere so maybe it's just me. I just wasn't as happy with it as I hoped I would be. ... show more

These so far have been well worth the price. Very easy to set up and easy to use through Logitech GHub. There are lighting shortcuts available in GHub to map to other Logitech peripherals which is nice. I have two, one on each side of the monitor. They have a good range of color options from cool to warm light and various brightness settings, none of which are too bright to actually see what is happening on the monitor but enough to light your face for the camera. My only gripe with them so far has been the monitor mount. They could easily be unscrewed and added to a camera mount, but I don't have a huge rig setup and so needed to use the little claw mounts (like a webcam) they allow them to sit on top of the monitor. ALL of the weight is in the light itself, the bottom mount part is a very light and hollow plastic. Since my monitor is not perfectly flat they do not sit well on top and can fall off fairly easily. They have the ability to height adjust but I keep them pretty low to avoid having that happen as much as I can. Overall I would buy them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs a small USB light for streaming or video calls. ... show more
