I bought the Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel and Pedals for my son for Christmas, and months later he’s still using it almost every day. That alone says a lot. Build Quality: The wheel feels solid right out of the box. The leather wrap gives it a premium feel and the stitching has held up well with heavy use. It doesn’t feel like a toy — it feels like actual driving hardware. Force Feedback: The force feedback is strong and responsive. You can feel road texture, tire slip, and resistance in corners. It adds real immersion compared to standard controllers. It’s not overpowered or jerky — just firm and realistic. Pedals: The brake pedal has noticeable resistance, which makes it feel more like a real car rather than a soft arcade setup. Throttle and clutch are smooth and responsive. Durability: After regular use, no looseness in the wheel, no pedal failure, and no fading buttons. It’s held up well to daily sessions. For the price, I think you will be hard-pressed to find something that does the job as well as this one. I don't like when people compare products across budgets, and then show how the one not even half the price is worse. So, here are the highlights: Very sturdy, especially when mounted on a racing chair. The screw pattern is very common, and you would have a hard time finding a racing chair that this one won't fit. I personally use the OpenWheeler 3 and it was a perfect match. For a gear-driven force feedback, this wheel is good! It isn't perfect - this isn't a $1k direct drive - but it is immersive, gives you feedback as needed. I used it in trucking sims and Dirt 3 and higher on PC. The pedals feel solid and work in a predictable manner. The gear shifter has a lock-out reverse that requires pressing down the shifter like in some cars. Gates are intuitive and shifting is smooth. Now, to the reason I counted off one star. Sometimes, when you update the software (GHub), the wheel stops working in some games and you will have to completely uninstall GHub and all other Logitech software to make it work again. This shouldn't happen, but it happened to me more than once on more than one PC. This may be fixed, but it seems to always loom as a hassle. And it is not straight forward what's wrong: It's, for example, only the Force Feedback not working on American Truck Simulator - but steering works, pedals work, just no feedback. If that wouldn't have happened more than once, I'd give it a 5 - it didn't help that Logitech Support asked me to send in the physical product as "defective" when it was their software - as I told them more than once because I tried both wheels on the same PC. Really liking this wheel. I've only ever had one other racing wheel and that was the cheap xbox 360 first party wheel to compare with the G29 too but the G29 is league's better. Seems pretty well built and the pedals are really nice (the 3 pedal version). I've read a lot of reviews about how stiff the brake pedal was and how many people actually to it apart and modified by taking out some rubber peice that would make it easier to depress. I'm not really sure why though? The brake pedal felt just right for me. I do have it bolted on a racing stand so it's not going anywhere but if it was on the ground instead I'm not really sure if it'd slide around or not but I think it'd probably be fine. On a side not, you'll probably want to adjust some settings with what ever game your playing because out of the box I think all the setting were set to maximum on Gran Turismo Sport and it almost made me not like the wheel at first. I turned the FFB down to like 3-4, and the other setting down some too (can't remember the name of the setting), and turned control sensitivity up to 100% and the wheel feels amazing! ... show more

The Logitech G29 Wheel with the G-Shifter is an amazing combo to have! This wheel has some great hand stitched leather and very responsive controls that "feel" real. Also, the mounting system and cable mangement on the wheel are amazing, allowing for a single, integrated and seamless USB connection powered through an outlet plug with the gaming device. The wheel automatically calibrates everytime it is connected to the device and setting it up is as easy as installing the software and having it recognized by the device. The gaming wheel incorporates some decent force feedback from various game titles that simulate actual driving, including the variations of resistance from the clutch, braking and gas pedals. The wheel also has paddle shifters and a G stick shifter that allows for operating vehicles with manual transmissions. Just to note, the wheel does not feature the full standard turning radius of 2 and a 1/2 times and is only 1 and a 1/2 time and does not have an adjustable tilting position, reach or height. Moving on, its dashboard hub looks like that of a real vehicle and literally, its a powerful tap into the actual driving experience. I very much recommend this wheel to aspiring gamers, those who want an immersive experience and especially those who want to drive from home or learn the skillful art of horsepower behind the wheel! ... show more
