Worked as promised. Make sure you apply on a good, clean surface. Used to seal out environment. Apply, wet your finger in your mouth, and use to smooth out. Just don't re-lick the same finger. This stuff is made from chemicals.

I had to apply this adhesive in 35 to 40 degree weather, which I thought wasn't going to work. Fortunately, it did indeed re-stick my door rubber strip ( top roof edge leading to the front fender ). I had previously used plain silicone & thought that would do the trick---no---sadly the strip peeled right away. Like the other reviews said, this glue is BLACK---so be very careful if you don't want it showing ( wish it was CLEAR like the silicone I used ). It can be wiped away easily when wet, and even peeled when slightly hardened. But don't wait too long, it stiffens up quickly & forms a nice bond. ... show more

All Loctite products are first class - this is no exception. I used it to glue down the weather strip on the trunk on a BMW 650i. It’s on solid with no sign of weakening or peeling, even when the trunk gets really hot in the Southern California sun.

works better than the original adhesive, and was very quick to apply. it is starting to come undone already in the corner, i'll have to try reapplying and clamping down that section better. but 95% of it is still sticking well after just 20 seconds of holding it tight. it has already outlasted the effectiveness of the original adhesive. ... show more
