These are the darkest sunglasses I have found; I have purchased multiple pairs of this exact item more than once. I need as dark as possible because, for one thing, I live in Florida, and for another, over the years (for no apparent reason) my eyes have become a lot more sensitive to bright sunlight than they were when I was younger. I have read some reviews that say they're "not that dark", well, if there's something out there that's even darker, I would love to know. I am a woman, but I buy the men's ones because they truly wrap around and block out the sun from every angle. These are absolutely the darkest I can find. Plus, at $9.99 a pair, you can't beat it - this is especially good for me because I am hard on my sunglasses. I am reordering now because I dropped them in a grocery store and then before I realized they had dropped, I accidentally ran over them with a shopping cart (LOL). I end up doing klutzy stuff like that all the time. If these were expensive, I'd be upset, but at under 10 bucks, I can't complain. I'm sure I'll be buying them yet again, when I do something else stupid. LOL ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got a pair of these in Fort Myers Florida while on vacation for thanks giving. I got these from an outdoor kiosk. They were so dark I don't have to squint. I also like that I can look around but no one can really see my eyes through the shades. I love these glasses. They aren't made with the strongest plastic. These are my third pair. I got these for the hubbs because he had several pairs prior that were amazing. His last pair lasted 3 years! When Amazon notified us they were at the door, he excitedly made his way to grab them, he opened the package while still jumping for joy, he put these bad boys on and then…. He just sat down. What a plot twist. He says these are much larger in width than all his others. However, he does give them credit for stopping his sun induced headaches; but they lack the comfort to wear continuously.
