If you're like me where your purchases depend on reviews, then hopefully my review can help you out. When this rug arrived it was in a small box and I was shocked because I ordered in 9x5 I was expecting something heavier and beefier..but upon opening I realized it was vacuum sealed-even then I was worried. I cut open the package laid out the rug and was like oh no. Imagine laying a towel down as a rug that's how thin this thing was. My dogs kept bunching it up as they walked across because it was so thin their little toes would catch on it and it would roll up. I looked at the little note and it said it would puff up within 48 hours, so I was thinking "okay let's see" cuz as it is now, it's not going to work. As the day went on I noticed it got puffier and squishier by the hour, by the time my husband got home and he walked in he thought he stepped on something because his foot just squished on down (his words) and then he said "oh nice rug". LOL by the second day it really was thick. It was soft it was plush it was beautiful. I now have two- one at my front door and one in my second living room. I would recommend this rug not only for the price but the quality. Do note, that the backing on this is like a fabric with little rubber knobs, I have mine on carpet and it stays in place I can't vouch how it will do on hardwood floors but I think it will do great there also. The fur is slippery-ish. What I mean is, if you're wearing socks, you can slide across it and honestly, you can't help doing it on purpose because it feels so good on your feet. It's a polyester feel VS. a cotton feel. I would definitely buy this again and probably will next Prime day! ... show more

Nice rug, I got them really fast. It looks good on the area I have it, but the rug is very slippery when I step on it.. Maybe after a wash it won't be so slippery. Overall, it does what I bought it for.

I purchased this rug just to make my hardwood floor living room seem a little more inviting and because my kid loves playing on it. The rug is not very thick but that's okay because for the price it's really not too bad. I would say the only complaint I have is that it does shed so you do see little black fuzz balls around the house and sometimes mistake them as spiders LOL. To clean it I vacuum it and that can sometimes be a little difficult as it's shag carpet so you have to go over it a lot with the vacuum. I'm giving this product four stars because I knew for the price it wouldn't be super thick and I knew that a shag carpet would shed a little bit. One thing I should mention is if you do vacuum this carpet make sure to check your roller brushes after every couple of vacuums because it does get caught up in there just like hair and you'll just have to clean it out like you normally do. If you're looking for a decent quality rug for a good price and don't expect anything amazing then this is good for you. Make sure that you expected to shed because it's going to shed and know that it can be a little difficult to clean. As far as smell goes when I first purchased it there was a slight smell but it really wasn't too bad after sitting out for a day it was fine I also use a disinfectant tide spray on mine after cleaning it just to give it a little extra scent. ... show more

And since I have a HUGE washing machine and dryer I washed this after my puppy peed on it, then I dried it about have way then let it air dry the rest of the way. This rug was just what I needed for my bedroom as I hate to cover my tile floor. It seems to be well made, the non-slip backing holds it well in place, but I'd rate it more on the scale of a bath rug as it's not very padded or thick. It does feel good on bare feet though!

But it’s for my room so I didn’t have to step on a cold floor. They are very thin. There is a semi rubberized bottom that is supposed to be nonstick, but it is not nonstick. They move all around the floor when you walk they are extremely lightweight and get married when you walk on them. Nothing that it easy shake wouldn’t fix. They serve the purpose, but if you’re looking for something substantial that stays in place, this wouldn’t be it. These are not rugs that you can vacuum. They are too lightweight. It is very soft and comfortable to walk on. It is a pain in the neck to vacuum though as you have to go over back and forth on a spot. The hairs trap dirt way down. Other than that it was worth the price

It’s a stylish carpet. If you’re thinking the rug is going to be thick it won’t. Lightly pressing on it you’ll think it’s cushioned enough, but stepping on it full body weight you’re basically just walking on a really soft version of your floor. Its just flat. It’s just soft bc of the fur. It’s high maintenance so my roommates and I take turns brushing and vacuuming the rug. No shoes on the rug because it’ll mess it up and we’re trying to preserve the white color and material. We simply just don’t want a dirty carpet. Decent for dorm in low traffic area (I have it in-between my bed and the my roommates bed). It’s cute def buy it if you want things to look stylish.
