This rug is a very nice budget item. It is exactly 4' x 6'. It is very soft to walk on in bare feet. The pattern is pleasant without being garish. It comes folded in plastic (see pic). It unfolds and flattens without a problem, with no visible creases. It is a little thinner than other rugs I have, but the backing seems pretty rugged. I put rugs like these on top of installed wall-to-wall carpets to protect walking areas, Given the thinness and soft surface, I don't know how well it will withstand lots of traffic, but it seems like it will work fine for my intended purpose. For the price, this is a good value and worth the money. I haven't tried to wash it so I don't know how it would handle washing. ... show more

Ok, so, I actually have a couple of washable rugs from the company that started the trend, and I really really like them. The thing about those rugs, is they look, and feel, like "real" rugs, even though they clearly are thinner than the fancier woven versions. And, the fact that you can pop the rug in the wash compensates for any difference in look or feel, especially in high traffic areas. So, yeah, I'm a fan of washable rugs. This, is cheap. Basically, a super cheap, super thin, screen printed velveteen rug, that you can pop in the wash as needed. You aren't going to want this to replace your nice thick carpet in the living room, but it would do the job well enough in a mud room, or on your back porch. From a distance, its attractive enough, but when you get close you can notice that the edging is cheaply done, and the pattern is very pale and indistinct. I'm giving this 4 stars despite the lackluster review because of the price. You KNOW what you are getting when you pay this amount for this size rug, and unlike other cheap rugs, this one can go into the washer easily, and is soft and reasonably attractive. This is not a replacement for the name brand washable rugs. I have several and the quality is much higher, but if you have a high traffic area and just need something pretty for the floor that won't break the bank, this might be worth it. ... show more

Even though it comes folded, there are really not many creases or bends in the carpet once you lay it flat. The rubber grip bottom works very well, and the carpet itself feels very smooth on barefoot as well as keeps dirt and water from sticking on the carpet. Very happy so far. Such a beautiful rug to add some interest to my space. It stays in place and is flat so it does not create a tripping hazard. It is soft and feels good on the feet.
