The silicone case itself feels good and offers solid protection. The magnetic lid is very secure, which is helpful if the case falls. However, the magnet is quite strong, and opening the lid requires extra force. This puts pressure on the AirPods hinge (the silver metal joint connecting the lid to the body). Over time, this could affect durability. I’ve seen a friend’s lid break from repeated force, so this is something to consider. More importantly, the included carabiner/keychain is poor quality. After only two days of use, the locking tension weakened and it no longer closes tightly. This creates a real risk of losing the case. I will have to replace it with a stronger keychain. Overall, the protective cover is decent, but the magnet strength and keychain quality need improvement.

I’ve been using this case for about a week after returning a different AirPods case that used a separate lid attached with 3M tape (which eventually loosened). The one-piece design on this case immediately feels more secure, and the magnetic lid is noticeably strong — it snaps shut confidently and doesn’t pop open when shaken or tossed in a bag. One thing I initially thought was a mistake was the included cleaning tools, since it looked like only one was included instead of two. Turns out it’s a 2-in-1 cleaning tool, which is actually better. I’ve used similar kits before where you’re stuck carrying multiple tiny tools — this is cleaner, simpler, and easier to keep track of. The silicone has a good grip without being sticky, the fit is snug, and the keychain feels sturdy enough for daily use. I feel much more confident that if my AirPods were ever dropped, the case would stay closed and protect them rather than sending the earbuds flying.
