It saved my life and works for sure. I took a nasty fall on spider mountain and went OTB head first into large rocks. Mild concussion, two broken ribs, and some internal bruising that's how bad it was. Afterwards I took a look at the helmet and it gave way in all the right places exactly as intended. The ER doc had told me that night if I hadn't had a helmet I would probably be in the ICU looking at weeks of recovery. Lixada Adult Bike Helmet, Full Face Mountain Bike Helmet Lightweight I ride an electric unicycle as part of my daily commute. I've been using a skull-cap type helmet for a few years and have (reasonably) been worried about my chin/teeth/face in a crash. I have fallen a few times, and I consider helmet and wrist-guards a must. This helmet offers much better protection. It isn't very heavy - lighter than it looks. Despite the light weight, it has a very sturdy/solid construction. My head feels better protected, and I don't think I'll be going back to my old helmet. My head measures 22.75" which is at the high end of the medium size. It's pretty snug to pull over my head/ears. Once on, it fits pretty well. After wearing it for about a week, it has gotten a little easier to put on and remove. For me, the pads at the top of the jaw are just a little tight. Instructions mention that you can replace the padding - however the helmet doesn't come with any alternate pads. This would have been nice to have included. While not tight against the ears, I do notice some reduced hearing as compared to my old helmet.

I received the visor and used this with my stand up jet ski. Liking it so far. Water drains immediately from everywhere except the cheek pads. They hold a small amount, but it's not a detriment and only noticed when removing the helmet. Most of the time I forgot I was wearing a helmet. I can't ask for better comfort than that. I only have one ride with it so far and will update if my opinion changes with more rides.
