Description

Long ago we humans used a form of communication and sensing that did not involve the brain in any way; rather, it came from a sacred place within our hearts. What good would it do to find this place again? This is a book of remembering. You have always had this place within your heart, and it is still there now. It existed before creation, and it will exist even after the last star shines its brilliant light. At night when you enter your dreams, you leave your mind and enter the sacred space of your heart. But do you remember? Or do you only remember the dream? Why am I telling you about this "something" that is fading from our memories? What good would it do to find this place again in a world where the greatest religion is science and the logic of the mind? Don't I know where emotions and feelings are second-class citizens? Yes, I do. But my teachers have asked me to remind you who you really are. You are more than just a human being, much more. For within your heart is a place, a sacred place, where the world can literally be remade through conscious cocreation. If you really want peace of spirit and if you want to return home, I invite you into the beauty of your own heart. With your permission, I will show you what has been shown to me. I will give you the exact instructions to the pathway into your heart where you and God are intimately one. It is your choice. But I must warn you: Within this experience resides great responsibility. Life knows when a spirit is born to the higher worlds, and life will use you as all the great masters who have ever lived have been used. If you read this book and do the meditation and then expect nothing to change in your life, you may get caught spiritually napping. Once you have entered the light of the great darkness, your life will change -- eventually, you will remember who you really are; eventually your life will become a life of service to humanity. In the last two chapters reside a surprise and a glimpse of great hope. The human lightbody that surrounds the body for about fifty- five to sixty feet in diameter, the Mer-Ka-Ba (which I wrote about in my first two books, The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life (Volumes I and II), has a secret inherently connected to this sacred space of the heart. If you are practicing the Mer-Ka-Ba meditation in your life, I believe you will find the information in this book to be paramount to your journey of ascension into the higher worlds of light. If you are only interested in the sacred space of the heart, may these words be a blessing in your life and help you remember your true nature. One last comment. This book is written with the least amount of words possible to convey the meaning and to keep the integrity of the essence of this experience. The images are purposefully simple. It is written from the heart, not the mind. Read more

  • Elegant & inspiring.
Format: Perfect Paperback
I was drawn to Drunvalo's Flower of Life teachings after being approached by a complete stranger who introduced me to them via his website. I found those volumes to be enjoyable but quite intense. On the other hand, Living in the Heart is a simple and easy book to read almost in one sitting. Yet it holds some powerful and simple observations and experiences about our world. The heart is where feelings are made manifest in our physical world, and it's our feelings that speak to the Mind of God, or the hidden field of intelligence as described by Gregg Braden (God Code, Isaiah Effect) and Lynne McTaggart (The Field). Our feelings communicate with the 99% of the energy in our world which is invisible to our eyes and ears. Following the heart reminds me of Stalking the Spirit, or following heart and gut feelings which can be an incredibly exciting journey. The times I have done it I've found myself surrounded by events and open doors my rational mind is unable to explain. If we want to change our world we must first become the feeling through prayer, rather than "thinking for" something, and then trust our creative essence. Drunvalo explains some complex and deep concepts with simplicity and focus. His introduction of the Unity breath ties in elegantly with the principle of universality of feeling. Globally we may have different languages, symbols, philosophies, values, hopes and desires, but the one thing that unifies all of us, is our feelings. We can all recognise feelings of happiness, sadness, anger etc. no matter what our race, colour, religion, or material well-being. We are separate, yet we are not. Buy the book, take a chance, do the meditation and have some fun! Regards Daniel John Hancock ... show more

  • Heart Based Perception
Format: Perfect Paperback
"Long ago, we humans used a form of communication and sensing that did not involve the brain in any way. Rather, it came from a sacred space within our heart." Drunvalo Melchizedek. This place within our heart is a place to which most of us have had access. As children, many of us, though not all, can remember having lived in a world when we jumped out of bed at the start of a new day, a time when there was a spring to our step, sparks in our eyes and joy in our heart from the sheer pleasure of living. A time when we did not doubt ourselves, our power, or the impact we had on others. Modern life, which can also be called, 'living by the mind', has taken a good deal of this enchantment away from us. We have collectively forgotten, or at least chosen to forget, that we are also powerful beings, that each of our cells, has a distinct power and an identity that challenges our imagination. In this work, Drunvalo Melchizedek, takes the blinkers off his eyes and tells us what he sees. He tells us also of others who see the same things that he does, as he recounts fascinating excerpts of his conversations with a blind woman employed by NASA, children in China and Mexico, who are being examined for their supersensory tactile perception and indigenous tribes from New Zealand and the Americas (both South and North) among others. In this space of the heart that he describes, co-creation becomes self-evident and miracles, the norm. Finally, Drunvalo delineates the Mer-ka-ba meditation (the guided meditation is also provided on an attached CD) and discusses the wondrous possibility of co-creation, or getting what you want, from the sacred space of the heart. A book to enjoy and treasure, to read and to re-read. ... show more

  • Definitely 5 stars for the book isn’t really enough to what it can provide if you are ready. Don’t take my word, read it.
Format: Kindle
Drunvalo Melchizedek is a gifted individual no doubt about it, his writing reflects his desire to live from the heart rather than the mind. This book has a great story and is a great starting point for everyone seeking new frontiers in developing his or her spirituality to the next level. However, In order to really succeed entering the sacred space into your heart one needs a little more, or should I rather say a lot more, than just reading his book. It is a journey to get there and definitely reading the book is a first step of many to come, taking his workshop when you are ready is the appropriate conclusion to the book. The emphasis in taking on something like living from your heart is “Do it when you are ready” not for fun but out of dedication of living your life in harmony with everything and everyone. Definitely 5 stars for the book isn’t really enough to what it can provide if you are ready. Don’t take my word, read it and judge yourself. ... show more

  • A wonderful message from the Kogi
Format: Perfect Paperback
Once again, Drunvalo has shared a precious jewel with us! I have been conscious of the beautiful Kogi from Columbia since the mid 80s when I first saw the BBC documentary about them. I was drawn to them deeply and felt a very strong kinship with them. For years I have wanted to visit them, not fully understanding why I felt so close to them, like family. Several years ago, I heard that they had contacted Drunvalo and I actually wrote him a letter asking him to take me with him if he got to go visit them in their homeland. It was not meant to be but when I discovered this book, it was as though they had come to me through Drunvalo to give me a personal message. I was thrilled and read the book with anticipation and joy! The book is written in typical Drunvalo style, easy to read and understand, as well as exciting. Having taken the Merkaba meditation course and also a workshop using Slim Spurling's tools, I was familiar with the first part of the book, as well. There was a bit of majical synchronicity working in my life at the time since I was also beginning to read about the Daoist meditation called the "Inner Smile". Although the two meditations are different, I believe that they just may achieve the same results eventually...taking us into the sacred heart space. I highly recommend this book for those who are seeking a deeper understanding and connection to their own heart and soul, thereby experiencing the oneness of all things. Drunvalo also includes a CD with the meditation to aid us in the process. It is an exhilirating thought that I, too, may experience a connection with the Kogi through the sacred space within my own heart! Thank you Drunvalo for sharing this wonderful adventure and experience with the rest of the world! ... show more

  • A caveat before buying the book
Format: Perfect Paperback
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend it (along with both volumes of Drunvelo's 'Secret of the Flower of Life' and his 'Serpent of Light'). However, I noticed that in the previous 35 reviews no one had mentioned that the book had helped them to access the Secret Space of the Heart. Today I ran across Drunvelo's Spirit of Maat e-zine from 2003 dedicated to the 'Secret' Space of the Heart[...]. This edition came out just as he was publishing the Sacred Space of the Heart book/CD. At the bottom of the article at the [...] link, Drunvelo says: "But the truth is that without an experienced teacher and the oral tradition, it is very difficult to truly find this Sacred Space. Even in a living workshop, we take two days of preparation before we try to enter the Sacred Space. But in this context, most problems can be overcome, and the direct experience can usually be achieved." Therefore, if you're beating your head against a wall trying to get to the Sacred Space and wondering what you're doing wrong, just know that there's the good chance that no amount of book/CD instruction and hours of practice will get you there without some preparation via one of Drunvelo's workshops. This sort of makes sense since if the Sacred Space was such an easy to get to, it seems someone would have published the instructions on how to get there relatively long ago. ... show more
