I am confident drivers are more award of my presence when I use my turn signals and hand signals together. I definitely have more room to turn.     • Blinkers are fantastic, and fits comfortably.
I adore this helmet. The speakers are decent, and the mic is alright as long as it isn't super windy or you're on a busy road. But mostly I just love that I can listen to my music, still hear traffic, and have blinkers. There's a huge difference riding with blinkers. Drivers give me more space and pass me more confidently when they can tell where I want to go. There's a noticeable difference if my battery dies in the middle of my ride. Drivers will get closer to me and are a lot more nervous to pass me, and having a car hang out in your blind spot is more nerve wracking than them passing me. I also love that you can't tell how awesome this helmet is when it isn't on, because it doesn't look like it has lights or speakers, so i don't have to worry about anyone stealing it since it looks like a regular helmet. I'd absolutely buy this helmet again. I will say that i have a tiny head and it adjusts down to my head great. But my husband has a giant head and it's a little tight on him. ... show more

This was a great buy for me. I just purchased my first e-bike and this helmet is awesome. It was quite easy to hook-up with blue tooth. The sound is adequate yet does not affect safety. I love the turn indicator which adds safety to the ride. It comes with controller that hooks onto the handle bar (no tools needed). While this helmet is more expensive than most helmets, having the SOS feature was the deciding factor for me. It does not have a head light in front but I have front light on the bike so that feature was not critical. I wear a size 7.5 hat and the Large size is a perfect fit (easy to adjust size with twist knob at back of helmet). ... show more

    • Nice helmet - but no controller doesn't work, no MIPS, and lousy customer service
It's really too bad. The helmet doesn't have MIPS technology, which would save my melon in a serious crash, but it fits really well and is comfortable. But one of the selling points was the big buttons on the controller to signal, answer calls, etc. But mine never worked! I replaced the batter it came with and, still, nothing. I emailed the company and they provided a very quick response: Buy another one (and we'll pay the shipping). I said, No. So they suggested a fix, which didn't work. Their final word, We're Sorry. You'll have to purchase a new one (controller). I. Don't. Think. So!!!! ... show more

It was nice that they have a light that flashes in the back but it’s not bright at all in the daylight. The feature I purchased these helmets for was the ability to communicate with a group of riders, well the capability is dismal. I was able to communicate with my wife but my wife could not communicate with me. If your phone times our (the screen blacks out) you can’t communicate with the group or anyone so now you have to fish your phone out or fiddle with it on the handle bar to wake it up and sign back into your phone to get it to work. And I have the buttons on my handlebar to talk but it would not work. Very disappointed in the technology that it’s based on having a phone and it being on and with the app open.     • I really like this helmet. 2.5 years in still working for me. Bought a second one.
Early morning rider here. I really like listening to tunes in stereo on my early morning ride. So far this has worked great and is easy to use. The helmet is a little bigger than regular helmets because of the extra internal parts. I have had this two years now, still works great. I really like it. I am always careful how I charge, I try not to overcharge. All is still good with this for me. Another update: almost three years now. I rode in some heavy June rain in California. The music and lights went off. I thought it was dead, so I bought a new one. Two days later I tried to charge my old one, one last time, and it charged, powered, and music'd up. Unbelievable. My friends phone got soaked and died that same rainy day. I love this helmet, love the music, ride daily. Have two now, hope second one does as well as the first. ... show more
