I have been using these trees for 30yrs. now. They are the original scented trees and this is by far their best scent, in my opinion. While they only really last for about a month, the scent eventually remains in your cars interiors after a few hot days in the sun. These are my very favorite tree scents. They have a good,strong vanilla scent that last a few days but starts to fade away. If your in and out of your car often,you may not smell them as much but I notice that if I don't go anywhere in my car for a day or two,I can really smell it next time I get in. I read that these help keep flies out of your hen house /chicken coop & they definitely make a difference. I take the plastic fully off - I'm not anal enough to reveal more & more of the tree each week by gradually pulling down the plastic. I'd say I replace them maybe every 8 weeks at the soonest. It really depends on the weather & heat. When I see flies buzzing around again I switch them out for fresh ones. ... show more
