    • SO much better than the bubble mowers!
We purchased the bubble mower for our oldest son six years ago, and it never worked right (with the bubbles). Both he and my daughter would "mow" the lawn with it, with Daddy, but it wasn't anywhere near as fun w/out the bubbles. When my youngest son turned two this year, I read the reviews and purchased this mower. I'm so glad I did. He pushed it around the house from day one, and when the weather turned warmer, he now uses it outside and loves it. He loves to "rev" the motor with the pull cord, and he pushes it around all the time. It's hit and miss as to what will keep him entertained, and this is definitely a hit! ... show more

    • 1.5 year old boy loves it.
Fantastic piece of entertainment for my almost 1.5 year old boy. We got it for him through Amazon for his 1st birthday. It was priced around $30 at the time, and i felt it was a good option between the other choices. He loves the pink bubble mower that my 3 year old had, so i thought he would be pretty happy with this. I was happy to see when we received it that it was good quality. It has a few things that can keep him busy. -The balls in the center pop when he pushes it -the revving part of the engine makes noise and can be pulled -the top handle bar has knobs to turn -it comes with a gas can for him to stop and "get gas." although the gas can went to other toys after he first got it, now at 6 months later, he is interested in keeping it with the mower where it belongs. We've left this outside for a good portion of its' play-life. Colors haven't faded nearly as much as i expected. If you have a boy that loves to push things, buy it. You won't regret it at all. ... show more

Bought this for my 16 month old grandson. He uses it both indoors and outdoors. He loves to turn the key (which makes a noise) as well as flip the lever (which also makes a noise) before he gets moving. The popper is at a reasonable decibel level. Some toys are way too loud, but for a popper, this one is just about right. He's a little afraid of loud noises right now, and this was OK with him. The only thing he was a bit frightened of was the pull cord. If you pull it fully and fast, it's pretty loud and he did cry a bit. The next time I tried it I pulled it more slowly. He was still hesitant, but didn't cry. I'm sure he'll get used to it. But, you don't have to pull it at all, so if it's an issue, just don't use it. He's had fun with the removable gas tank. Very cute. All in all I'm happy with the quality and the price was right too. I'd certainly buy another. ... show more
