  • Easy assembly😊 Worth the price
Bought it because I saw how much my 1 yr old son loved the one at his daycare. He’s played with it every day since. Assembly was pretty easy and we take it to the park. He loves to cruise around in it.😊

  • Classic Ride-on with lots of Added Features!
As far as ride-ons go, this is the best I've come across! I had a Cozy Coupe in the '80s and was eager checkout how the Cozy Coupe has changed over the decades. I was pleased to find that while going to assemble the Cozy Coupe, Little Tikes provides an online, step-by-step video instruction guide which allowed me to assemble it without any missteps. Aside from the fact that the Cozy Coupe by all outward appearances is adorable, it also has a lot of great functional aspects too. During assembly you can choose to assemble the door in a way that keeps it locked at all times, allows the door to go from locked to unlocked, or have the door always unlocked. The horn actually makes a little beeping noise and there's an ignition with a key that can be turned to make a clack, clack, clack noise. The key can also be "removed" and reinserted, but is always tethered to the ignition itself. And the gas cap opens up, which I think is always a bonus to little ones as they seems thrilled by the notion of repeatedly opening and closing something. The handle in the top of the roof has been my favorite feature of the Cozy Coupe as it allows me to push my son around easily and have pretty good control of it. The floorboard is removable which is always a bonus as it can grow with the child and I imagine my little one will enjoy the Cozy Coupe just as much, if not more so, when he is able to propel himself along. Oh, and how could I forget the cup holders? It's a perfect spot to house sippy cups and a bottle of water for yourself. It's an unnecessary feature, but nonetheless something both my little one and I use when taking the Cozy Coupe out for a spin! The quality of the Cozy Coupe seems great. The body itself is quite sturdy and so is the roof and interior features. The wheels seems pretty solid and in general the Cozy Coupe does not look or appear to be flimsy and I have faith it will hold up for quite some time. While this was purchased in the winter we still make sure to sneak in some Cozy Coupe time on days that permit. I imagine come spring we will be cruising all over the place in the Cozy Coupe! This is really a great, functional rideon that offers a lot of great features at a very reasonable price! ... show more

  • Great little car - Assembly Hint
After seeing some of the reviews about how hard it is to assemble the roof, I was worried about having problems, but found a couple of hints I would like to share: 1) The instructional video shows the lady pulling up and forward on the roof to latch the front to the window uprights onto the roof. I tried this several times and no luck. Finally, I pushed the back uprights (still attached onto the roof) down into the car a few inches to allow the back prongs of the front uprights to catch in the roof slots. Once they caught, I could then lift the roof and push it forward just like the video shows and that allowed the front uprights to snap into the roof as designed. Bottom line; make sure the back prongs of the front uprights are started into the roof notches before performing the up and forward maneuver. 2) When wiggling the the front driver side upright down into the body, make sure the car door stays is in place. The door post is held in place by a cavity in the upright. After I had the car all together, I noticed the door laying on the floor and had to take the roof back off to re-install the door - ugh. 3) My roof is style 2 which has the two (around 3") plastic pins that you hammer in to hold the back uprights onto the car body. Be careful to align these pins well when hammering them in as they can easily go askew and will miss the inside hole. This unfortunately bends them. I had to take a claw hammer and pull one of them back out, straighten it, re-insert it and carefully align it when hammering it back in. Fortunately it did not break when I bent it. Other than these learning curve issues, I thought the car went together pretty well. If you use the end-cap holders to fasten the end-caps to the axles as shown in the video, you should have no problems with this task. Grandson's birthday party coming up in a couple of days. I hope he likes the car and doesn't just play with the box. If so, I may just keep the car for myself. Gets great gas mileage. ;-) Update 9/14/2013: My grandson LOVES the little car. It is a hit. ... show more
