The Cozy Coupe is an undisputed classic! I had one with one of my older kids and wanted to get one for the newest addition! The eyes and the face are a bit cumbersome to align and assemble. Seemed like a bit of unnecessary work. What is with the door lock? It would be nice if the directions clearly marked the optional steps. Lil Mikey loves this car though!     • This car is cool and fun!
We were short one bushing and had an extra red top that covered something. So we had to go to the hardware store to find something that would work, and luckily it did. It was a real drag having to stop in the middle of putting it together to go and get a part that should have been in the packet with all the rest of the parts in the first place!     • Way smaller than the last one I bought
First of all, this car is quite a bit smaller than the one I bought six years ago. I don't know how that happened. Moving on. My son loses his mind when he's tasked with putting together anything baby/toddler items, so I usually do it for him. That way my 18 month old granddaughter gets to use the items before she goes off to college. That said, putting this together was tough. I started by pulling everything out of the box, grabbing the manual, (I pushed aside the Spanish manual because I don't read Spanish), and started taking inventory. of the items Unfortunately, I also pushed aside the folded paper (in Spanish) that was stashed inside the sealed box. I didn't know there was English text on the other side of the paper that said something to the effect of, "This page replaces page 15 of the manual." By the time I saw it, I had already managed to manhandle and wrestle the front wheels and axle into place. There was cursing. I suggest you look for that page before wrestling/forcing the front wheels into place. I have to wonder if the manufacturer ever thought about bringing someone in off the street to put their products together using their manuals. I'm taking the car to my granddaughter's house tomorrow. I'm sure she'll love it, and I'm sure a smile will wash over her face as she climbs aboard it. I only wish this 30th Anniversary throwback was the same size as the old one. ... show more
