This ladder is as advertised. I bought it on sale during Amazon Prime Month in July 2023 b/c it was just too expensive at regular price. I am glad i did. I do not like heights and if I have to go up on the roof or replace an outdoor light bulb, I want something solid and safe. This ladder covered all of the check boxes. Its solid, well made and its heavy. Mine was 17ft that can reach up to 23ft and weighs almost a 100lbs. That's good b/c once you lean that ladder up against the wall it has the mass to stay in place. I also purchase the attachment that allows you lean to an existing structure without it shifting to the left or right while working on the ladder. I won’t go in to this ladders many features, as this has been done by many others. This is a great ladder for many tasks, but it has two issues: 1) It weighs over 30 pounds 2) The steps are VERY narrow, making it painful to stand on one step for any length of time and work. If the steps would have been made just 1 inch wider, this issue would not exist!! ... show more
