Works good when in use, however, big design flaw if you are using an RV and your batteries die by plugging in a generator the ATS switch won’t work with the battery being dead, which doesn’t allow you to charge your batteries

I wanted this inverter as a back up for supplying 120 volts to my 5th wheel camper. My primary off-grid 120 volt supply today is a 2000 WH LifePO4 power station. The inverter comes with positive and negative power cables, ground cable, remote control with 14’ wire that displays volts, amps and watts (see image) and mounting screws. All components look nicely made with high fit and finish qualities. OEM packaging was excellent. Note: I did not test nor do I need the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch). This internal device automatically detects if 120 volt power to your load is interrupted and enables the inverter to begin generating 120 volt power from the connected battery bank. I connected my two 12.8 volt LIFEPO4 batteries in parallel to the inverter. I also connected a 120 volt outlet to the AC output connections on the inverter to apply the load. I used a space heater rated at 1500 watts for my test before installing in my camper. The space heater immediately began pulling 1340 watts. Both fans began to spin and remained on when drawing max power on the heater. When lowering the space heater to low watts dropped to 640 and the fans turned off. Using the app on my Li Time batteries showed an amp draw of 111.8 with watts at 1453.4. The difference in watts between the inverter remote control screen and the Li Time app on the batteries suggests a 92.16% efficiency - pretty respectable. I left the inverter on for 45 minutes using the space heater on high with no issues. In summary - this is a solid inverter in the 2000 watt arena. The value is excellent especially considering the accessories supplied with the kit. All connections are rock solid, clearly labeled and are easy to connect. Pulling a 75% load the unit became only warm - not hot. Fan noise was not objectionable and was zero at low load. This is why I give the product 5 stars.

Setup was simple, the controls are straightforward, and it works great with a wide range of electronics and appliances. Bought this for my workshop. This works great for the smaller loads like keeping the lights on and fridge cold but I do not use this for larger loads like air compressor or saws the starting amps they pull I think would be to much for this. I have done some testing and I can't tell when the grid power is turned off this just switches over to fast for me to tell when it happens. The lights do not even have time to flicker. This makes me trust that I should get a larger inverter and battery pack so that I can run my whole shop when the grip power it out.

I have owned the older version of this inverter for over a year, it is wired into my camper to run the entire 120v side and I had to install an external 30 amp transfer switch. This would have saved me a good chunk of money and and simplified my installation. This amp is a good size, relative to other 2,000 watt inverters. The included hardware and cables to connect it to the battery are nice. The terminals are all fantastic and the wiring connection are all very solid. I like the screen that allows you to turn the inverter on remotely and shows you how many watts are coming out of the battery. Really, if you're putting this inverter in a camper and using it to run the stock power center using a good size battery bank, this is a great option with the new transfer switch that is included.
