This is a nice, decently sturdy arm, HOWEVER a kindle paperwhite slides right on through the grips. I just happened to have a chunk of dense foam that I wedged in one side and it holds decently. I’ll use some contact cement later to make the foam stick permanently, but they flat out lied about it holding a kindle right out of the box. Nice quality arm, but misrepresenting what it holds.

I have been using this for my iPad attached to my nightstand for 20 days now and it’s perfect for my needs. I spend most of my waking hours sitting on my bed reading ebooks and watching videos and at night lying down doing the same so an iPad stand is essential for my lifestyle. This is my fourth one and by far the best. I’ve tried the goose-neck ones and eventually the wires in the neck break from a lot of adjusting rendering them useless. Then I tried one that adjusts the arms by hand turning the knobs and that failed after two months because no matter how hard I tightened the main knob the arm wouldn’t stay in position. This one adjusts perfectly and stays put throughout the dozen times I adjust it per day trying to get the perfect angle (that’s just me). It seems very sturdy so I hope it lasts for at least a year or longer.

I got this Kindle holder after seeing a post on a social media site. I love it! I got a remote control as well to turn the pages. Now I can read without my arms falling asleep before I do! Only 1 caution that won't apply to all. My headboard is actually a fireplace surround that has a graduate lip and the bracket doesn't tighten down all the way. I was able to flip the bracket over to make it work better, but have to be careful to not pull the whole thing off as I move the arm back and forth.

It’s kind of unwieldy and hard to secure it to anything, where it doesn’t start sagging. There’s two ways to attach the arm to the adjustable base, which is kind of nice, but like I said, it’s hard to keep it secured to something, no matter how hard I tighten it. It becomes even harder to remain secured at its base, when you have a one pound tablet attached to the arm while it’s extended. Gravity and force needed to adjust its position, when fully extended, works against it. I wouldn’t recommend using this, especially over time, as the base adjustment screw, threads into the plastic base. I think if the base were entirely made of metal, it’d tighten enough, to where I’d be confident it wouldn’t come crashing on top of me or onto the floor, damaging my tablet. It’s just the impression I get after setup. Returned.

Works very well with my side table next to my bed. I am able to plug in the product into the side table and move it away when I sleep as well. Love it, looks great and modern as well. Definitely better than any of the other products which have the rubber cord.

I love this concept, however once I put my kindle in the holder, as light as it is, it doesn't stay in place. The whole arm moves down from the base. And when i try to fold it and lock it into place, the springs pull it back outward. It's still usable but definitely not convenient as I have to fight with it to get it to hold in any specific position. Not happy with the quality but not worth the trouble of returning either. Update: Customer service reached out and sent a replacement but unfortunately the replacement has the same issue. I am updating my review from 2 stars to 3 because of their prompt service in shipping a replacement and their attention to the matter.

Idk if it was my bed frame or what but this would not stay on! After my first review the manufacturer reached out to me personally and made everything right so even if this product doesn't work out for you they will correct the issue and that is awesome in my book.
