I was looking for a paint pen to color my garage number. The apartment complex recently replaced the wood around the garages with a plastic or metal that is dark brown. The numbers were also brown. The wood was white. I could not see my garage number at night, so I painted it white. This was easy to use and covered it ok, but not great. It was cheap and that was a factor. So I ordered this marker for a project I was working on and which had a deadline. Amazon gets it to me in a few days at least so I thought. The notifications from Amazon alert me my package arrived and was waiting at my mailbox, when I went to the front door I found an Amazon envelope addressed to me but it was empty and still fully sealed. Amazon had sent me out an empty envelope without the item. After calling customer service they apologized and sent me out a replacement. This was on a Saturday so Unfortunately they could not get it to me any sooner then the following Tuesday, three days later. They couldn't even get it to me by Monday. So Tuesday rolls around my package is listed as arriving that day but my mailman comes and goes, no package. I track my package on the USPS and find it has been rescheduled for Wednesday. Annoyed again at the complete incompetence of Amazon failing to get me a freaking magic marker on time yet again, I call and get a refund for my trouble while I wait. I finally did get my paint marker yesterday and it worked great. The color is consistent and was exactly as expected. I am happy with the product not with Amazon. My project was delayed and caused issues. One warning to those of you that have not yet tried or used paint markers, be careful as after you get the marker tip primed and full of the paint, it has the chance to leak out and onto your clothing or all over what your using it for. I had a box of 24 acrylic paint markers for painting rocks. What fun!!! On some of the darker colored rocks, I use white as a base, then, paint on top of it. Well, as expected, the white one ran out of paint. I was happy to purchase a single white marker without having to buy an entire set.

Although I’ve personally come to prefer other paint marker brands, I’d say that these work just fine. This gray is not that opaque, so keep that in mind. It’s also worth noting this paint dries to what I would call a semi-gloss finish. Essential odor free. The felt tip is pretty rigid for a while, so I went rough with it on canvas and softened it up a bit. Keep them upright and remember to put that cap back on! 😉 ... show more

The color is close to Cerulean which is exactly what I wanted. I purchased a cabinet for plates etc from Wayfair. I hired a worker bee to put it together and there were some very small scratches. One stroke with this marker and it looks like a million bucks!
