For the most part, this is a very nice, sturdy, portable stand/table. The bottom part is a pretty standard double-X keyboard style stand, and the expandable table sits on top of it. It's steel, so it's actually quite heavy and stable. The two minor issues I have with it are 1) the finish of the table scratches very easily and 2) the spring loaded push-in tabs for expanding/contracting the table need to be pushed in at the same time while the ends are moved in/out, which is difficult. Very versatile and super sturdy. It was a little bigger and heavier than I thought it would be, but in a good way. I'm going to use it for my synth and effects, but it would also hold a pretty wide DJ mixer/turntable set up. The design is pretty simple and works well. This is an awesome portable stand from Liquid Stands. Marketed as a DJ stand or audio mixer stand, probably because it’s made of steel and will hold a ton of equipment (well, not literally – it has a max capacity of 160 pounds), this stand can be used for anything you need that requires portability, strength and durability. The X-style base (height adjustable from 27” to 37”) is ridiculously easy to operate and the expandable top can ‘stretch’ from 32” to 43”. The underside of the top has spring loaded ‘pegs’ that lock the top into your desired extension length. Again, simple and easy. So if you’re looking for a sturdy, well made and easy to use portable table/stand, I can recommend this one from Liquid Stands. ... show more

I wasn't sure what to expect on this since heavy duty can mean a variety of things. But this is really a heavy duty all metal table. The intended purpose is a DJ stand but it can be used for a variety of things. It will support a lot of weight and is easy to use. It is heavy. I wish it had it's own case but that is not included. This table is surprisingly heavy. It's made of steel and folds up nicely. It appears well made , sturdy and holds a good amount of weight. Works as a DJ table and more. Recommend.

    • Sturdy And Versitile
I recently ordered the Liquid Stands Expandable DJ Table stand for my home recording studio. I often make product review videos and I wanted a better table to display the items for review. The stand is a nice black which works great for my needs and most other people if using it on a stage. First, I have to say that I was astounded by the build quality of this stand, it is incredibly sturdy. I have used many other stands and on occasion worried about the stability but not with this stand, this product was designed to last. The stand is very versatile, the table can expand if you need more space, and you can adjust the height to fit your needs. I am very impressed with the size and sturdiness of this stand. The stand is portable, but it is heavy, but it is worth it for the stability and build quality. Setting up the stand is very easy as well, just pull the lever on the legs to open it up and adjust the height then place the table on the top and you are ready to go. To take it down just take the table top off and pull the lever on the legs to fold it up. If you are looking for a portable and sturdy stand that is easy to set up and take down look no further, the Liquid Stand should get the job done. ... show more
