Amazing, unbelievable chrome finish, but to achieve it on porous surfaces, you need to seal them first. For example, air dry clay needs to be varnished first or this will look like any other silver paint. Brush works well. Smell is mild and pleasant.

The best paint I've found to have a true chrome appearance. I used it to restore the "H" emblem on the front of my Honda Civic. The watery consistency helped to not leave any brush strokes behind, and the paint applied very smooth and predictably. Absolutely perfect chrome touch up paint, if that's what your intentions are for buying this. Highly recommend!

I DO ALOT OF AIRBRUSHING, FOR THE $$ THIS IS IT. DONE ALOT OF TESTS WITH IT ON BLACK, GREY, WHITE PRIMERS & JUST ON BARE PLASTIC, VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE IN THE LOOK. I'VE RUN IT WITH A .3 & .5 NEEDLE IN THE AIRBRUSH AROUND 20LB. AIR PRESSURE, FOR SMALL PARTS .3 NEDDLE WORKS OK. I'VE EVEN THINNED IT WITH MR. LEVELER 1 TO 1 MIX, LOOKED GREAT. I SHOT IT STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BOTTLE NO THINNING ALSO LOOKED GREAT. DOES NOT LIKE HEAT OR HOT AIR OR DEHYDRADER!! TRIED DIFFERENT GLOSS COATINGS, ALL DULLED THE FINISH. MADE IT LOOK LIKE ALLUMINUM, WHICH IS OK IF THATS THE LOOK U ARE GOING FOR. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE, IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO DRY, IT SAYS 72 HRS. BEST RESULTS 2-3 WEEKS. AT 72 HRS U WILL LEAVE FINGERPRINTS! EVEN AFTER DRIED I USE LATEX GLOVES TO HANDEL, IT DOES NOT LIKE BEING BUFFED, IT DULLS. UNBELIEVABLE!! Stop your looking. This is the product you need. I’ve been looking for a highly mirrored chrome paint that is better than the rest. I’ve been seeing alsa chrome but the price point has been keeping me away. I saw this and I thought I would give it a try with my airbrush. I make costume cosplays for my son and needed a chrome like paint for some droid eyes. I resin printed the eyes and completely smoothed them and shot high gloss black first. I shot this as one heavy coat (that’s the key) and all I can say is fantastic!! Looks like a mirror. I will be letting this dry for the rest of the week before I weather it but this is the best chrome like paint I have ever seen. You MUST smooth what you are painting. If there are layer lines, pits, holes, ripples…. I can see this paint being more silver like. You must apply heavy and in one coat. In between running and just enough. Practicing on something smooth to get the feel for how this flows. Shot at 20 psi on my snap on air brush.
