WOWZERS! I read on one review "It's like cocaine for your car!" And I would have to disagree... It's more like Meth + that pill from limitless for your car! Wow. Added to an empty tank after an oil change with Liqui Moli 5W 40 in my 02 VW W8 then filled off with 93 non-ethanol. We then hit the interstate for a quick trip. Immediate improvement in throttle response and power in 1st-3rd gears, In 5th gear at 65mph I had a very noticeable increase in power! Left the car in drive (as I'm usually driving in Tiptronic) and gave it ¾ throttle coming off an exit and let's just say both me and my passenger had a smile on our faces and a nice rush. This product outperforms anything I've ever used. Will be using with oil changes for the life of all of my cars. Highly recommend. Just for fun I tried this on my low mileage (130,000) 1987 Silverado with the 350 tbi engine. Allowing a couple of miles for it to make its way thru the fuel lines, I noticed a definite improvement in acceleration and throttle response. I added it to my 16 gallon tank when it was 1/2 full and then topped the tank off. So it amounted to 1 can in 16 gallons. The can says to add to a minimum of 7 gallons for optimum effect so I wonder if the improvement would have been even more noticeable if I put 2 cans in 16 gallons. In any case, at $11.07 per can it is not economical to use on a regular basis. Assuming 1 can in 16 gallons of gas it amounts to abouts to an additional 69 cents per gallon. However, if you figure that premium gas (which does not improve acceleration) costs about 70 cents more per gal. over regular gas, maybe that’s not too bad. My truck has 2 16 gallon tanks so I can add it to one tank only and switch to that tank when I want to impress someone. I would definitely add it to a vehicle that I was planning to sell (ha ha). Generally a cynic on these things, and maybe I experienced the Placebo Effect yet the car felt more powerful. It is only a 1.4L turbocharged Jetta but it felt like a mini tune. It might have increased my miles per gallon, but I was accelerating more. MPG may have increased a bit, my long term average (since 2018) is back to 39 after having been at 38.9 (this is on a fuel economy app, not the cars electronics). I am buying another, and if all it does is help atomization then it should be good in the winter. ... show more

Well it doesn't exactly add MORE horsepower, but in older vehicles, cleaning the valves, fuel system, and other internals with Liqui Moly's impressive line of products will free up some of that lost HP due to inefficiency that can happen. Cleaning all that sludge and treating the oil with additives will help your car use all of its available HP. Does it add more than what your engine is capable of? Nope. Will it make sure your engine is functioning at it's full potential to give you it's top rated HP? Yes, absolutely. The "increased power" people are feeling is simply them feeling their car closer to when it was new. You become accustomed to it's poor performance. I didn’t notice any difference and I used two bottles in my 2013 Genesis R-Spec. (20 gallon tank with premium fuel) The cars already pretty quick I did an oil change with filter and figured I’d add it to see what happens. Mileage didn’t seem to change with no improvement.
