Liqui Moly's Hypoid Gear Oil SAE 75W-90 is a fully synthetic, top grade, high- pressure gear oil for high load manual, auxiliary, transaxle and hypoid transmissions, where a lubricant complying with API GL 4+ is required. High quality synthetic based oil and modern additive technology ensures a broad application range and optimum transmission lubrication under extreme conditions. The low viscosity characteristics of this gear oil make it also suitable where shifting difficulties exist. (eg. stiffness or noise generation). Promotes easier gear changing and quieter running. With outstanding protection against wear and corrosion. Guarantees a considerable reduction in noise. Suitable for use where there are long periods between oil changes. For passenger vehicle manual transmissions, modern transaxles drives. Predominantly in VW transmissions and those of numerous other vehicle manufacturers.

Dont use if its in cold climate. Other than that my audi a4 1.8t 5 speed shifts way smoother but cold weather isn’t happy till it gets some warmth/movement going

    • Shifts nice but
I love the quick shifts this gives me in the 73 VW bug, however, it is more noisy than the Amsoil MTG I drained out of it. The shift is awesome and effortless, but I can hear the transmission wining a little as I run through the gears, which I never did with Amsoil. I have tried Redline MT90 and it did not shift to my liking. Sadly these new slippery synthetic oils may be a little too thin for my old bug, but this should work great in newer units. The packaging it came in was freaking legit! Super professional looking and very well protected. No leaks!! Going in a manual 94' Celica GT Hatchback. (2.9 liters) After doing weeks and weeks of research of using either Redline or Liqui Moly I've decided to go with Liqui Moly. Good substitute for the Oem Gm expensive fluid for the transfer case. Pretty much the same GL4+ that's on the GM fluid at a lower price. Still, recommend to change every 20k or 30k intervals...If your unsure, then stick to the Oem, that still recommends to change at 20k intervals.

This one star review is not for the oil but for sending me the wrong oil. Title specifically says 75-90 gl4 oil but i received gl5 75-140 oil. Whoever sending this product please fix this
