Feels great but does bleed into fine line on upper lips, so recommend a lip liner. It is much lighter than pictured, a rose pink and not a medium rose mauve like I was wishing for. I have a light to medium complexion and this was lighter than my lips.

While I have Dior, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and other pricey, lovable brands (Clinique is a long-time favorite) I keep coming back to Elizabeth Arden. Color saturation, pigmentation, wearability, non-drying formula, color selection are the best. I also have several drug store brands sprinkled in my lipstick holder (L’Oreal has lovely reds, Milani has good value) so this feels like a splurge at $29.00 — but a value considering the $40+ per tube of other well-liked brands. I apply the lipstick after lipliner, then blot. After I am 100% dressed, I reapply .. stays in place for hours. MERLOT, BERRY anything, CHERRY are beautiful REDS. Highly recommend! ... show more
