3 of 4 brake shoes failed after 9,000 mostly highway miles on my new Palomini. I ordered both left & right complete kits. Easy to replace, all parts included. The self-adjusters appear to work properly because after 6,000 miles there is no pull to one side upon braking.

Good qualitY stuff. I'll see how theY ware with use. An assemblY is easier to replace than just replacing the shoes. The magnet is like replacing points & condenser; theY are to be replaced together. Therefore the assemblY is alwaYs replaced instead of just some parts of it. Rule of thumb: What You do on one side of an axel, do to the other. A pair to repair is alwaYs necessarY. Update: They don't last nearly as long as I expected. What I expected was the same longevity as auto brakes, or at least half as long since he RV is heavier. Nope. Not even nearly. I replace these assemblies every two years or LESS (about 10,000 miles of travel over US Interstate highways). I will say that my old puller truck does not have an engine Pakbrake so the RV brakes get a real workout going downhill, but so do the truck brakes at the same time and they don't suffer the same ware. ... show more

BEFORE YOU TAKE MY WORD THESE ARE BEING INSTALLED ON A TRUCK THAT HAULS 20KLBS DAILY ON A WORK TRUCK. I have bought alot of these from these guys and although the value is there and it does work they never seem to grab like the higher dollar one, I end up replacing breaks more often when using this brand. the build and quality is there, every thing fits perfect and it does work for a little bit, but I have to switch to a little more expensive brand as they do not last like the big tag brands. We apreciate the money we have saved while purchasing but replacement is just to frequent. ... show more

Perfect fit for my 2012 Sanibel 5th wheel with 7K axles. They came well packaged and complete. Only had to bolt onto the axles with five nuts and attach the electrical lines running from the axles.
