I bought this shelving unit not for books or other stuff, but for my cats to climb on and lay around. I have put together a lot of out of box furniture in my life time, but this was by far the hardest to figure out. But it eventually got put together correctly. Very nice shelving unit, very sturdy with nice materials. I ended up covering each shelf with precut new carpet. The cats and I love it!

I had a plant stand in my kitchen that held only 3 house plants, but I really wanted to add a few more. So, I was looking for a shelving unit that: was big and sturdy enough to safely hold 6 or 7 house plants; would fit into a very specific space; had components that were water-resistant (to guard against leaks); was completely open on both sides (for the sun from one side and for watering and enjoyment from the other side); and -- if possible -- had areas that could accommodate plants 18+ inches in height. This shelving unit ended up being the perfect solution . . . exactly what I was looking for! I'm very impressed with how well designed and manufactured the shelving unit is . . . it's incredibly sturdy and will last many years! Putting it together was super, super easy (the instructions couldn't have been clearer) -- it just took about 30 or 40 minutes sitting on the floor putting it together. The finish on both the metal and shelves was exactly as described and I think it looks really great in the kitchen! Now I just need to buy 3 or 4 more plants to fit into the available spaces!

The fake wood aside, this is a really good value for a stylish shelf. Take your time assembling it and read the directions and you should be fine. I skimmed the directions and had a couple time-wasters I had to undo, but it worked out in the end.

I am always skeptical about ordering furniture online. They usually are pressed wood and cheap. Not this one. I was absolutely happy with this purchase. It is sturdy, has some weight to it, wood is beautiful and mounted very quickly. I am super impressed and do recommend to you.

Husband but it together with our issues (take the stickers off while you can still reach them or your wife will make you take the shelf apart to get the ones in the cracks). Seems sturdy enough to put some of my glass collection on it. Wish it came in a 24”X 96” or 108”! Pleased with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Instructions were good. Things were properly labeled. So good, that I was able to modify the assembly to suit my needs... I've got this enormous printer for work, so I just put the bottom shelf in place of the next one up and didn't put anything on the bottom and my printer fits there nicely.
