My 7 year old and I put this together easy enough. It feels better than what I paid for it and it looks great! Plus, it's heavy and sturdy. I was impressed with the back board, it's very secure, unlike most garbage book shelves. There were two small flaws I spotted while putting it together, but it still looks fine, and nothing to knock a star off for. Their is nothing I dislike about this product ! I'm handicapped and was able to assemble this Beautiful shelf by myself. If you arnt mechanically inclined , get some help with assembly.I use it next to my recliner for easy access to items that are important to me so I can limit getting up and down so much 😁 ... show more

As far as bookshelves go this one is nice and sturdy. I believe it took me 2 hours to assemble by myself. The instructions are straight forward and easy to comprehend but I will say if you’re not too much of a handyman you might need a second pair of hands to build.
