  • Once you go balanced you cant go back
Size: 2pin-0.78mm, 2.5mm Color: Grey
Right off the bat let's get the only problems i had (although very minor) out of the way while the cable is made of really nice tough rubber the parts around the 2.5 jack and the aroud the separation in the middle feel like cheap hollow plastic (at least in the silver cable), secondly to my knowledge there is no right and left indicators on tge cable nor are there instructions as to which color goes where after looking it up im pretty sure the color thing is a standard but for someone joining the audiophile community it is pretty confusing (from what i gathered the white/clear goes to the left monitor and the red to the right monitor) really just a nitpick but having it be written somewhere wouldn't hurt, now for the compliments, for context i use the moondrop b3 and a btr 5-2021 (on the R&B EQ setting) as an amp/dac and when swapping the standard 3.5 to the 2.5 bal. I noticed the audio became alot more spacious and warm. I just got into the audiophile sphere and my wallet is already dreading the future. ... show more

  • Wow! Better than I imagined.
Size: Recessed 2pin, 3.5mm Color: Moss
One of my favorite pair of IEM's to listen to EDM/House music with are the KZ Zax. That IEM is unlike the majority of KZ's line of IEM's. While KZ's are known for having a very pronounced V shape sound signature with a mid-range that gets lost under booming bass and almost shrill highs. Because the Zax's are a hybrid and not full armature they have a dynamic driver for the low end and 7 armature drivers per earpiece. The dynamic driver fixes a lot of the boomy low end issues that KZ's had become famous for. What really surprised me when I first listened to them was the presence of the mid-range. It is there and present in all the good ways you would want it to be yet never over powering. It was love at first listen and over the years that I have owned my KZ Zax's they have quickly become the IEM's I always have with me and listen to most often. Anyone who has ever owned a pair of KZ IEM's knows that the weakest part of any of their line is the cable that they include with their IEM's. The stock cable barely passes as something I would give any thought of listening to music through. They leave a lot to be desired. So the first thing to be ditched in a drawer somewhere is the stock cable. For the past year and 7 months I have had two 3rd party cables (the second one replaced the first one when the connection started dropping in and out in the left ear piece), While not the best cables available, they were far superior to the stock cable, they cost around $12 each and both of them lasted over 7 months before the internal wires started breaking at the bend points. I usually keep my phone in my front pocket with the headphones plugged in and I have a bad habit of leaving it that way when I sit down which is why I am very hard on cables and they all succumb to breakage at the bend points. Last week the second 3rd party cable finally started to show signs that death was imminent and the right ear piece was going to stop working very soon. I jumped on Amazon and started looking for a new replacement cable. The Tripowin Zonie caught my eye. Not so much because I knew it had superior sound quality due to its impressive build quality but more for its overall thickness. A 16 core silver plated cable is not going to internally break as easy as a 4 core cable (or at least common sense is on the side of the 16 core cable). Sure, I knew there would be some amount of better sound but I was really thinking about how sturdy that thick cable looked. My first impression upon unpacking the cable was that it really is a quality build using quality parts. As an added bonus it is also stunning looking (dare I say sexy as well). Then I put my trusty Zak's in my ears and kicked off some music. Wow! I didn't even have to think about whether they did or did not sound better. The music now has a noticeably smooth underbelly. The notes seem to be gliding effortlessly in the air. Until I started listening with this cable, I didn't even realize that sound coming out of my Zax's was traveling over a gravel road. At least that is the best way to describe it. I wasn't expecting this level of improvement but the ear to ear smile plastered on my face says a lot about just how good this cable is. At around $20 it is more than worth every penny. ... show more

  • Great durability
Size: 2pin-0.78mm, 3.5mm Color: Grey
Writing a review after more than a year of regular use after I bought this as a replacement for a failing Moondrop Aria stock cable. Been using this regularly: winding it and packing it into small cases for traveling, bending the base of the cable (near the aux connector), and there are zero signs of wear. I have detached my IEMs multiple times, and the pins for both sides still seat in nicely to the IEM with no looseness. Cable shows no sign of unraveling, and I can highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • One of the 2-pin plugs is loose
Size: Recessed 2pin, 3.5mm Color: Jelly
I've been using these cables with my new QKZ x HBB Purchased back in May 2023. At first, I really love the sound differences and the quality of the cable, very flexible and soft when storing, but unfortunately, the 2-pin on the right ear falls off very easily if I'm laying on my side, or if the cable got snagged onto something. I've tried using my IEMs with the stock cable and those did not cause the loose cable issue on the right ear, so I'm assuming that the Jelly that was sent to me was faulty. Because I don't always give 5-star reviews, and there's no "half star" rating, I'm taking half a star off because of the loose cable issue, otherwise, it's a very good update to the QKZs that I can consider this paired together to bump it up to a mid-range quality IEM. ... show more

  • Breathed life into an old pair of IEMs
Size: MMCX, 3.5mm Color: Grey
Have a pair of IEMs where the original cable is yellowing and has areas that are permanently kinked from age, storage, and use. Got to a point where I couldn't use them anymore because the cord always wiggled them out of my ears. This solved that problem. For the original $400 that these IEMs originally cost, they should have come with something like this. Great quality, MMCX connectors click into place and rotate just the right amount to not interfere with placement. 3.5" plug has a step-down so it'll fit with into your phone even with a case around it. Lost an in-line mic from the old cord, but the whole point of IEMs is that there's isolation, and I don't need to take calls while I'm listening! ... show more

  • Fantastic Budget Balanced
Size: 2pin-0.78mm, 4.4mm Color: Blue
One day delivery! These are a great upgrade for budget iems such as my Moondrop Starfields, especially because the stock cable the Starfields come with is trash. Tripowin has do an excellent job on both the feeling of the wire coating and finish of the end terminals. I bought the light blue color with the .78 2pin 4.4 balanced verison, and couldn't be happier. As far as I can tell, there's isn't any phasing issues; the connection to my Hiby R6 is tight and clean feeling. Overall, these cables are a no brainer if you want an upgrade to your existing stock cables or if you wanna change the stock cables out for a balanced set up. Just make the purchase and thank yourself later! ... show more

  • Nice In-Ear Cable
Size: 2pin-0.78mm, 3.5mm Color: Grey
Cable lays nicely behind your head. It's soft and pliable. Having a sliding bead on the cable makes it nice to snug up behind your head so less chance of having your ear plugs fall out. Highly recommend.
