Oooh boy. I purchased these as another lower-mid range IEM to add to my quickly growing collection. Mainly picked them up after reading the hype behind them from all of the major reviewers. Not going to lie, I was genuinely concerned before receiving them. I was worried I was getting myself worked up, and that they would fall short of what I was anticipating. So glad I was wrong. Packaging is excellent, though some would consider it maybe a little wasteful. The machined aluminum box it comes with is super nice, even if you struggle to fit the IEMs in them with a better cable. Speaking of the cable, it is fine. Not phenomenal by any means, but it's serviceable. The red accents may be a bit TOO red for some, but it's fine. Ear tips it comes with are good, but I have only had good luck when it comes to fit and sound with the blue ones. The clear ones at a bit too much in the highs for my tastes, and the tall tips do not fit well for me. Build quality is excellent on my pair. Seam is noticeable, but that is to be expected of the metal housing. Despite looking obnoxious, the fit and comfort is fine on these. The driver only really sticks out about what you would expect a standard IEM to, as the circular pattern is largely flat. Now to the fun stuff. These. Sound. Great. I absolutely LOVE what these are doing. Like I mentioned earlier, the sound signature can be affected quite a bit by the ear tips, so all of these comments will reference the blue tips included. I did also try other tips, such as spring tips from Moondrop and SpinFits, and overall would still lean towards the blue ones. Bass is excellent. You definitely get that planar punch and speed, though it is far from overpowering. Mids are relaxed, but still well-detailed. In my opinion, these shine in the upper range. The highs are bright, clear, and there is plenty of airiness. With most of the tips, I find them right at the edge of harsh, but they never really overstep. The blue tips bring this down a bit while keeping nearly all of the detail. Soundstage is a bit middle-of-the-road, but that's to be expected of IEMs in this price range. The technical detail that these can provide is astonishing. They also take EQ like a champ if you want to bring the bass up or draw back the highs. Using Wavelet to give me Crinacle's tuning makes these about perfect for me. These are, by far, my most fun pair of IEMs. Whether I am walking around my house or just lounging in bed, I always find myself going back to these over my other IEMs. They are relatively easy to drive, sound good on most players, are super light, and just... EVERYTHING. I have had a few co-workers try these out, and they are also pretty taken aback by the sound. While some people have had QA issues in the past, my pair had no obvious balancing issues or anything like that. Overall, I am so glad I picked these up. If you like the idea of a planar IEM, just do it.

I bought this pair of ChiFi IEM's because almost every review I have read simply love them. They stand up and compare very well to much more expensive IEM's They sound very good. They are not the prettiest but I didn't care about that. With the right Silicone tip you can get lots of warmth. I have yet to find the perfect silicone tip that will stay securely in my right ear, so I do have to push them in on one side only. I think this is less about the 7Hz and more about finding the right fit. They came with a nice variety of tips, decent cable and decent sound staging for placement of instruments throughout your head. It comes with a fancy aluminum box which I feel is useless, and a waste of money that they could have put into a useful case that you'll end up buying to store them in your pockets. It's more a piece of art than useful. They use Mcxx connectors and I like them as the pins have a definitive click, rotate around the pin and don't bend or break if you push them in wrong. I got these at a great price because so many people buy, try and return them. They were in brand new shape and interestingly enough the last owner only tried one of the tips and it was the one that has no bass, so they may have missed out on how good they sound. These are outstanding value at under $200.00 CAD. Don't get fooled into paying the $500.+ that I occasionally see them at.

I bought these at the end of 2021 after doing extensive research and was not only NOT disappointed, but I have been considering purchasing a second pair. These are the best IEMs I've ever owned. There will be other reviews that detail the sound signature and the like for those who care, so I'm not going to do that here. Instead, I'm going to focus on the people who aren't even close to being in the "audio community", who are just trying to decide on something they will like. For those people, are these more expensive than you might normally consider purchasing? Maybe. Yes maybe you're looking at the price and thinking, "You want how much?", but let me tell you that these really are worth the price if you are looking for something with great sound. They also hold up pretty well. I lug mine with me all over the place and they look a little banged up because I'm hard on them, but they have held up. I use them when working, running errands, working out, etc. I am not at all an IEM enthusiast. I much prefer some good over the ear headphones, and my collection proves it, but sometimes I will still default to listening to these IEMs when at my desk. And, again, to that person who might just be looking for something 'good', but don't really know much about audio, these might seem expensive, but as far as planar IEMs go, you're really not going to get something of this quality for less. Honestly, I think they're priced a little cheap for their worth--but I love that because they're more accessible to a larger audience. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the design. I still find the disk shape to be kind of weird and slightly... not exactly 'ugly', but just 'meh' I guess. I do like the simplicity of the design, but they just strike me as odd. I expected them to fall out of my ears when I first go them, but once I settled on the best tips (and there are a lot provided, so for the lay person, try out several to see what works for you) they stay put just fine. Over all, hands down, these are "the best" in my opinion.

7hz almost knocked this out of the park and I'm really looking forward to a slightly better tuned version with less mid-bass. The good: Lots of bass that doesn't bleed into the mids (likely due to being a planar IEM). This means you can listen at low volumes and not miss a beat. Even when you turn up the volume, it doesn't distort. Lower distortion means great detail retrieval when not overpowered by the mid-bass (see cons). Great treble extension, forward mids, and treble extension without being sibilant. Excellent separation and layering. Nothing gets lost even in busy tracks. Incredibly low distortion and comfortable to listen to for hours. Not difficult to drive and responds well to EQ (see cons). Excellent selection of tips although none of them worked for me (see cons). The bad: Surprisingly, the cable is not great for bass texture. Any cheap cable Linsoul cable is much better (but for the price you shouldn't need a cable swap). The length of the nozzle (short) and angle of the nozzle is not great and causes discomfort. I can only listen to them for 30 minutes with silicon tips. Need foam or Xelastec for all day comfort. Tuning is far too mid-bass heavy for my tastes and drowns out the detail that these are capable off. It's a shame that you have to EQ this beast. I'd like to see an updated version with a Harman-like tuning and a better nozzle. I think that would be very hard to beat. Ear discomfort is the main reason I returned these but looking forward to what 7Hz can produce in the future.

Like always say; sound is subjective to each individual. If you are a musician you know better than the average person, but for the rest of us we depend of what we learn from concert, live musicians on different environments, cds, vinyls (if you are bless to have a collection), and of course headphones, earphones, IEMs. I started this hobby of IEM six years ago with my first one the TANGZU Wan'er S.G., and nothing was the same. My struggle days of large headphones were over, finally good sounds follow me everywhere in a very compact way. After adding 5 pairs of IEMs looking for a more tailored refined sound, I came across several reviews of this 7hz Timeless. Being the 7HZ x Crinacle Zero 2 my favorite IEM from my collection it was very logic to turn to 7Hz for an upgrade. But $200 dollars are an insane amount of money to spend in a pair of IEM, at least for me. When time was right, and Affirm approved me I went for it. Have been 3 weeks listening to all my plays list on iTunes. From Latin Jazz, classic instrumental, 70' hip-hop, R&B, to country, pop, and 90' heavy metal. Everything sounds flawless, dynamic, finally my music has a dimension that I can hear. This is my last IEM, there's no way I'm going to spend any amount of money to upgrade this sound experience, I'm done with this hobby. If your original source of music is optimum and that particular recording is equalized at top notch the 7Hz Timeless will produce the musical experience that the original recording meant to, period. I know that several audiophiles will disagree with me bringing several IEMs as an example and with few hundred of dollars above the 200 of the Timeless. I don't believe that the average person can distinguish the musical fidelity of a $200 IEM to a $500, it requires a very well trained ear to accurately detect differences. Coming from $25 to $55 IEMs collection, the Timeless is a sublime musical experience, the bass never comes overwhelming even when the original recording meant to be that way, mids and high are flawless reproduce. On Dolby Atmos tunes the stage presence is absolutely delightful, you can feel where the instruments sound coming from, one detail of the Timeless is that requires a little more power than my others IEM, I notice in the volume either my iPhone Pro or the iPad Pro, it requires the volume quite high. I hook them to my ifi Hip-Dac and the Timeless detonated it magic, and everything becomes more bright and cristal clear details that makes your favorites tunes new again. Do your homework, research spec, and watch reviews of people that don't try to impress you with their descriptive wordy, theirs IEM collections, and the prices of them, before you pull the cash. In my humble opinion, the 7Hz Timeless is a spectacular choice in between the planar IEMs, and the majority of IEMs fans will be completely satisfied.

I never write reviews but these are genuinely really good. They claim to be audiophile but I was pleasantly surprised by a slight bump in the really low lows. They are extremely nice to casually listen to. The treble is clear and distinct but still relaxed, and the mids are clear. Bass has a small bump but it doesn’t extend far enough to muddy up the sound, the boost that’s there is mild. I don’t like when people use random terms like “more detail” or whatever to describe things like bass because it’s not spontaneously creating notes and frequencies you don’t experience on other headphones. But because the bass is less exaggerated it’s actually easier to focus on it and discern what you’re hearing. So to summarize these are very detailed earbuds, while also having a more fun and consistently enjoyable sound signature than what a lot of hifi gear aims for. Note that you will absolutely have to switch tips to find what works best. There are dome shaped tips and more cylindrical tips. They had medium dome tips preinstalled and were very tinny when I first put them in. Switched to the large cylindrical ones and they’re perfect.

I've heard a lot of talk about these that basically amounts to "they're good" with extra steps. I've got experience with a pair of Dan Clark Aeon Open X & Audeze LCD-X planar magnetic headphones and wanted to dip into the IEM world for portable Hi-Fi with a set of fast planar drivers. The Timeless aren't quite Dan Clark quick, but what you lose in high-end resolution you make up for with MOUNTAINS of bass. These things have more bass than the SVS sub in my living room. They seriously liven up rock and heavy metal tracks. Nothing else I have is quite like them, they're monsters. Personally, I appreciate some nice tight bass in my listening experiences. I have a pair of LS50 Metas on my desk with a KC62 for added low-end impact. I could be listening to them as I type this, but the metal tracks I'm playing right now are that much heavier on the Timeless. That is NOT to say these things are slouches when it comes to classical or jazz. They're plenty tight for making out precise instruments in the tracks that need them, and they're FAR from overpowering, but they don't quite have the light finesse you might expect from a set of full-sized over-ear planars. They are, however, excellent all-rounders. The most critical of audiophiles may take issue with the tightness of their bass, but I never found them fatiguing across a wide range of tracks, and never felt like I was left seriously wanting for detail. As a note: the pictures include the FiiO UTWS5 MMCX Bluetooth adapters but I did my initial testing with a wired connection to a standalone CD Player system before they got here. The Timeless definitely sounded better on the wire, but they're not offensive over Bluetooth the way that studio-monitors would be. These things work great for Spotify and YouTube. They're perfect for casual usage. TL;DR: I can solidly recommend these. They're excellent for their price!

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt that it was important to make an exception in this case. I own perhaps 50 or more IEM sets and this set is already one of my favorites. I find that it has some of the best soundstage and imaging of any IEM in my collection (including a well regarded set costing $1k). The tonal balance of this set is excellent. I find the sound to be quite natural and immersive, with good bass. (One of my amps has a bass boost, and this set handles that very well if that is your preference.) Fit is extremely personal and subjective. I have large ears, and for me the fit and comfort are outstanding. They “look” heavy and uncomfortable to my eyes in pictures, but the ownership experience could not be further from the truth. I could easily wear these all day long, and that is one of the most important characteristics to me. I have no issues with the stock cable or ear tips, but again this is highly subjective. This set is not “perfect” in every regard, but the are a fantastic all-around set. I think they are well worth the price, and I like these enough to make them my “daily drivers” despite the fact that I have plenty of other options to choose from. I can’t imagine anyone disliking these on the basis of sound, but I have heard that they may not be as comfortable for everyone as they are for me. I strongly recommend this set, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Worth every penny.
