This rack is described as rustic. Rustic is a “look” and from a distance it doesn’t look bad. For this product it really means shoddy workmanship. Glue was not wiped off the joints. A brad connecting the top split through the side of a vertical piece of wood dividing the cubbies. The brad holes on the top were not filled. In addition, the screws provided to connect to the wall were wood screws. These have a “v” or tapered shape just below the head. Great for going into wood. But for a keyhole connection you want a metal screw where the head is squared off....so you can get a tight connection to the wall. Buy your own. The v makes this difficult. The anchors provided are low quality. Buy your own. Given that the rack will probably carry weight, I suggest anchoring one end to a stud if possible and a beefier plastic anchor on the other end. I had to buy stain to match to touch up after removing the glue. Given the relatively low quality, the price I paid of $55 is high. And the suggested price before the discount of $70+ is simply absurd. They send a nice thank you card stating they work hard to design and create beautiful handcrafted products. Makes you picture a carpenter working at building and inspecting individual units. But the box states Made in China. Mass production. I did send an email to Nick B making the above observations/recommendations and got a form email back offering to replace or refund the cost. Too much hassle. I’ll make it work until I have the time to build a quality replacement. ... show more

I’ve searched long for a solution for backpack, coats, gloves, and hats that would hold up to the wear and tear of my children. This is it! I purchased two as I needed the hook space and had the wall space as well. Pretty easy to hang, took a bit longer for the simple fact that I had to line two up. Smaller kids can much more easily access their items and get the pack off the hook themselves. Love this and would buy again. ... show more

I LOVE this shelf! It was easy to hang up and I thought it was neat when they sent a small leveler with. It also holds up my boys’ school coats and bags easily and the little storage baskets are perfect for the hats and gloves. I also thought it was a nice touch when they gave us labels for the slots. The only thing sort of negative is the one bucket had the label holder upside down, but it’s working fine and the label hasn’t fallen out. VERY happy! ... show more

I needed a wall mounted shelf for my coffee bar but most I found were too big for my space but this is just right, I believe my order must have been a return as one of the brackets on the back was missing a screw nd the corner of the shelf was damaged where the screw would go in to hold the bracket. Since this side of the shelf is in the corner I didn’t really care. I was able to move the bracket over and drill the inside to gold the screw. Our house doesn't have a dining room, just a nook on the side of the kitchen. We rarely eat there because it's so small. The table and two chairs had become a zone to leave coats, hats, and assorted "carry it with you" items like bags and belt packs. I wanted to organize it and this small coat hanger is unobtrusive enough to hang several coats or jackets without being in the way of passage to the rest of the house. The baskets are enough for knit caps and gloves, but too small and not deep enough for ball caps with a bill. It only took about ten minutes to put in place. Only one side could mount on a stud, and I used a molly screw (not supplied) for the other. The drywall screws supplied weren't sufficient for the plaster walls of our older home. ... show more
