  • Best BLO I've ever used
Size: 8.45 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is very high quality, highly refined boiled linseed oil. I used it to finish a guitar I built recently and it worked like magic to make the wood really pop. This oil seems to have a lot less solvent added to it than your average BLO you'd buy off the shelf at a big box hardware store, which is good because the solvents they usually put in BLO are highly toxic and carcinogenic. It takes longer to dry, which means the risk of self-combusting rags is low. You still want to use it sparingly, do many light coats and thoroughly wash your rags with detergent and warm water and spread them out to dry afterwards. See the can for more info. Make sure you use a 100% cotton, lint free rag to apply this oil. Rags made from T-shirt like cloth are best. Or just use an old, white 100% cotton T-shirt. You should re-oil wood periodically (once a year as a rough guide) to maintain the finish. You can also put some on a rag to wipe dirt off the wood. The 250ml can I got will cover several guitars or gun stocks and keep them re-oiled for years. ... show more

  • It really does self combust!
Size: 8.45 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
For BLO it is good, I like the consistency, isn't as thin linseed oil, and isn't too think. I think it goes on best after a 150 grit sand. I prefer using a rag and several coats. 1 a day for a week, then once a month for 3 months, then once a year. It really brings out the woods natural beauty. I also use it on stiff leather (knife sheaths, axe gaurds, and pouches) Now make sure you clean your rags! Yep it will self combust. I have been using BLO for almost 4 decades and it finally happen. Good product for the cost if you need a smaller size other than gallons. ... show more

  • Good stuff !
Size: 8.45 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Just what dry wood needs. I put some on the wheelbarrow handles and now will use it in a 100+ year old spinning wheel.

  • Works great to condition wood
Size: 8.45 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Worked great to condition my axe handle. But be careful! Don't apply too much. Start with a light coat and allow to dry for a number of days. Afterwards, apply a second very light coat. If applied to thick and not enough time to dry it will be sticky. Other than that, works great at giving the wood a nice smooth feel. Not slippery or sticky, but a nice conditioned feel. Also, it brings out some nice natural colors. Would highly recommend for conditioning tool handles. ... show more

  • Tesla Model 3 wood dash
Size: 8.45 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Works great on the open pore wood dash for a Tesla Model 3! I did 3 light coats each on a different day. Small dab on a cloth and wiped it down with a clean cloth after soaking for a few minutes. Doesn’t take much at all! Used sparingly.

  • Works great!

I have a 3 foot wooden bear that was getting faded and splitting do to the Texas sun and I put a large amount of this stuff on it and it almost looks brand new!
