I bought this cable with the pci-e bracket because I thought I might be able to use that metal in the case mod I had planned. Didn't need it but was happy with the cable overall and I appreciated having more than one length to choose from. Prices as I write this review are up considerably from when I purchased and you can find other motherboard-to-type-C cables for less, including some flat cables. The motherboard connector on this one is guarded, which is nice and easy to insert, but if you have board components sitting extra close to the socket this one may not fit at all (it was awfully close on my board). This cable doesn't want to lay flat/straight so you have to work with the twist when routing. My modification ended up being a hack job that works and doesn't look too horrible. After some time and tooling, I made this cable end fit into the side of a Vantec bay sled that is housing a good quality Gen 1 3.0 card reader/ports. That card reader only runs its type-C port at half speed (Gen 1) so I wanted to have a "real" type-C available up front. Worked out great with a little elbow grease. Of note to anyone considering similar, the rubber housing on this type-C end has "free" ears where the threaded inserts are - it's not solid like many are, nor grooved like a couple others. That may or may not matter to you depending on what you need to do (I had to change my approach because of this, made it a little more difficult). ... show more

Good fit for my rig, works fine

USB C internal panel cable, right angle. 60 cm. The right angle cable fits well on my motherboard. It comes with a Pcie bracket, but I removed that and routed the cable to the front of my pc to a bay mount I made. My pc rig is r-atx, or reverse atx meaning the USB C port on the motherboard was facing to the front of the case instead of the rear. Routing worked out well on my CaseLabs Merlin case. Quest 2 Charge while Tethered

Bought for use with a Meta Quest 2 for VR to tether to my PC, this was able to charge the headset while maintaining highspeed data transfer for low latency, it should be stated that the battery level on the Q2 will drop to 82% i have yet to see whether it will go lower than that, but this is usually after 3hrs of flight sim. no other product i tried was able to achieve this. products included: pcie x4 usb cards, multitude of type A to C cables. Bracket may not fit properly

It works well for my needs. I do have a small issue with the fit - the bracket is quite short for my case's PCI bracket slot. The other end does not clip into the case so it touches the mother board and it's quite loose. This is not a big deal for me, but it may be for some people. High Quality with a Unique connector

I have used a lot of internal 3.1 Gen 2 cables and this one has a housing that keeps it from getting disconnected. It's a fantastic change and makes all the difference. The cable is nicely made and is of good quality as well. The connector isn't the cheap USB-c that will be worthless after a few months. Significant upgrade over the usual cheap trash that is out there. Very happy with this product and this is my third. Getting ready to order another. One note, the 40cm is a bit too short for anything but maybe a very compact ITX build. I thought it would be enough but ended up needing the 80cm mostly. ... show more

Installed easily, seems to work as expected so far. If I could subtract 1/2 star it'd be due to the bracket being slightly different than pictured (USB-C connector is centered on bracket, instead of offset like shown in all of their photos). I would have preferred the offset bracket, but would have purchased this item either way, so it wasn't worth knocking off a full star. But hopefully this review helps in case the bracket is a deal breaker for someone else. ... show more

Constantly disconnected from windows

My new MB had a type C header for a front socket but I have no such socket on my older case I reused. This let me add a second type C to the back. This is my first experience with type C and I am happy to have the second lead as they are very fast.
