These curtains are made very well. Right out of the box and onto a curtain rod. Perfect. My patio sliding door has blinds with a 9 inch deep Valance, and 103 inches wide. I understood that these curtains would be heavy so opted to use plumbing material for the rod. Home Depot had 1” galvanized pipe and elbows that were my best bet. So sturdy. My Hubby helped with install. I used a 120” pipe and went wall to wall and ceiling to floor. Absolutely stunning! Love the end result. I say they are not blackout because I can still see light when looking in at night and I can still see light from the inside during the day. At any rate, I searched high and low for these and they are perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend. The panels are wide enough that you probably only need 1 per window. I used both on this project. My Grandsons say it transformed my room into a hotel. They know what hotels look like. Thank you for a great product! Will buy again. Total cost of curtains $87 plus approximately $70 for galvanized plumbing material for rod.

I wanted to create a small painting studio out of an alcove off of my living room that has a lot of light, but still be able to open it up when not in use. These curtains, combined with the ceiling tracks from Room Dividers Now, turned out to be the perfect solution. First, they block the light very well -- when covering my large south-facing window, I can see that the curtain is lighter in parts, but that light doesn't penetrate the darkness of the room. Also, they're the same material on both sides, so they look good from either area of the room. And they're huge! I needed curtains that were 9' x 9', and they had them -- and for an amazing price! Very happy with this purchase.

Ok, Visual Designer here. And I’ve tried countless blinds from Amazon and Target. This by far was waaayyyy better than expected. Want thick, full, luxury blackout blinds just get these. These are heavier than the average one layer curtain. It does an good job as a room darkening curtain or as a room divider but for sound dampening it is not nearly as good as a three or four layer curtain sold under the RYB Home brand. This curtain is the heaviest out of the curtains I could find here on Amazon if you need a long and wide panel. The quality seams to be good. They include tie backs. These curtain listings are very misleading with their descriptions. It is hard to figure out what you are buying. If in doubt, order different brand's sets till you get the one that works for you. I will be returning these and going with the 4 layer RYB Home brand curtains because I needed a curtain that had the maximum amount of sound dampening but was still reasonably priced. For little over $30.00 more for a set of two curtains I get at least three times more sound dampening. And as an extra 100% light blocking curtain. Gave this curtain a four star because of the misleading description that implies this is good for sound dampening as well as room darkening.

I was so delighted to find these 10ft. blackout curtains. My daughter wanted to turn her dining room into an office/nursery after the arrival of her new baby. With these over the hallway opening, only a little light shines at the top of the curtain. The rest of the light from the hallway is gone. This will facilitate a nice dark room for her new sleeping infant. Also, they are heavy weight and help muffle sound as well. A nice solution to covering a tall wall opening and creating a "closed space" without making a permanent change to the walls. We used heavy duty large brackets into a stud, and a large piece of steel pipe to be sure the curtain rod supporting these curtains wouldn't bend. Be sure to use a HEAVY DUTY curtain rod or it will bow under the weight.

The curtains have a really soft material that is high quality. They wash well. Great for keeping light out of my toddlers room so he can nap and they also keep the cold air and heat from the sun from blaring into his room. I love these! Highly recommend!
