Great amount for the cost. I would definitely say have a 13 gallon bag ready to hold the full sized foam after opening. It does float, but that is normal. Filled my bear and he is nice and squishy and returns to its original shape. Haven't tried washing, but excited about making more toys

My couch cushions went flat within a few months of having it, so I ordered 2 10 lb bags. We may have overstuffed one of the cushions but it’s so comfortable! Feels like I’m laying on a cloud. I only used a bag and a half for both my cushions. These couches are thicccccc and I love it!

This is the most comfortable memory foam I have tried. Used 10 lbs to replace the foam that came in a bean bag i ordered, which claimed to have memory foam, but there is no comparison between the two. This foam is really soft.

Messy and hard to work with: static electricity.

Refilled our sofa cushion. Does a good job and comfortable. Just very messy to work with, picks up static electricity: sticks to everything, and flies everywhere. Be prepared for cleaning up all the bits.

I ordered two of the 5lb options. I have so far only opened one. It came wrapped tightly in several layers of plastic stretch wrap. Inside that the shreds were vacuum packed into a plastic bag. Inside the bag was a mesh bag which was sewn shut but this is good as it contained the compressed shreds. I
let the mesh bag puff up for over an hour before I cut one end of and dumped it into the shipping box both 5 pound bundles came in. I've included a photo with the fluffed up shreds in the shipping box with the mesh bag across the top and the unopened bundle on the floor in front of the box. I stuffed to the shreds into my allergy pillow cover to use it as a bed pillow. My shreds were free of any foreign matter. They do smell so I'm going to air out the one I've already opened for a week on our screened in porch before I try using it again but I also had to do that with the mattress topper I bought so I'm not surprised. A week on the porch worked for the mattress topper so I'm willing to bet it will work for these shreds as well. I've decided to return the 2nd unopened bundle as I have found that these shreds do not provide enough support for my head for a full night's sleep. I found that the shreds compacted to a rather brick like state even with the pillow case stuffed with as many shreds as possible. I'll repurpose the opened bundle into new cat beds for my two cats, once they air out.
