My original review was for the memory foam pad. The topper cover fits perfectly and helps keep the memory Foam in place. I am changing my review. We transferred this memory foam pad to a firm mattress and that made a difference. It no longer sinks into a valley and is fairly comfortable. We even used it on the floor for the kids. We also bought the cover and that helped. I still don't think memory foam is that great and I will not use it on a soft mattress. I don't know what the big deal is about memory foam. I will never order it again. I ordered the 3-inch-thick foam thinking it would be good for the body. The body sinks down to the bottom and then you are surrounded by a valley of foam especially when it is 3 inches thick. A one-inch foam topper would be better. It makes turning over in the night a problem. If you like sleeping on a hard surface than you may like it. After sleeping on this for 3 months, my body aches all over. I doubt this is good for the body. It is better to get a mattress topper that is not foam. I had a wool topper but lost it in a fire. That was like sleeping on a cloud but with support. ... show more

We have a lake home which has a hard mattress on our bed. Each trip to the lake I had trouble sleeping on my side due to pressure on my shoulders and hips. We purchased to topper, followed the instruction to wait 48 hours before using and immediately noticed a Hugh improvement in our sleeping. This is not an expensive topper but for our limited use it is working better than expected. We also purchased the topper case which for a few dollars more I think is well worth the money. The case keeps the topper from sliding around and I think it will increase the life of the topper. We elected to use the topper with the corrugated side down and the smooth side up. I have not been able to notice any difference in temperature when using the topper. This may be because we are also using the topper case which adds a little extra buffer between topper and body. ... show more

The topper case is a perfect fit for my 4" Linenspa matress topper; one suggestion, when placing the topper into this case, be patient and take your time. The zipper teeth are nylon and very fine. You could easily get the casing caught in the zipper. After the topper is in the case,make sure it is sitting properly before zipping closed. Also pinching the zipper as you zip the topper into the case will take the stress off the zipper and allow you to keep the inner cloth threads from getting caught in the zipper. I think the case is a must, considering that the topper could rip while positioning without the topper case. Definitely worth the cost to protect the topper from wear. ... show more

Having a new gel mattress I didn't expect to need anything else for awhile, but every night I'd wake up with hip and shoulder pain and was losing too much sleep to tough it out any longer. The 2" was just right for me (Mid 50s, 205lbs). If I was any heavier, I'd go for the 3". I picked up the cover, which was surprisingly good and keep the "infused" gel pellets from getting all over your bed as they do fall out pretty much every time you use it. My husband sleeps in a hospital bed with a hard mattress, and I bought a Linenspa mattress topper to provide him with a softer and more comfortable bed. This cover protects and preserves the mattress topper. I washed it before putting it on, and it washed and dried very well with cool water and low dryer heat. It's very form-fitting, and it took me a while to figure out how to get it on. It unzips around three sides, which makes it easier, but what you really need to keep in mind is that there are top and bottom fabrics, and the top fabric also covers the sides of the topper. The bottom fabric has little dots (silicone?) that help it stay on whatever it is on top of (in our case, the hospital bed mattress). The top fabric looks like a mattress pad. When you put the cover on the topper, pull the top fabric down over all four sides of the topper before zipping it up, and you will find that it fits perfectly. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Looked nice out of the box. When I went to unzip it, there was a massive amount of frayed thread throughout the whole thing and it would get caught in the zipper so it would just get stuck. I’m still struggling with it. 30 minutes later. I waited a week after I got my 3 inch pillow top so I don’t want to send it back. I’m gonna do everything I can to try to get it to work. ... show more
